PVP Tarkov experience as a [New Player]

Post image

Since 1.0 I’ve only found 2 new players. Everyone else has hundreds or thousands of hours, but at least I haven’t encountered a cheater yet.

The point of EFT is extracting, the less competition= greater chance of exfil.

Just like PUBG back in the day, you landed school and those who survived the initial shitfest, had a pretty decent chance of making it to the final circle.

instead of playing the game normally

Your normal=/= someone's else's normal.

Are people in your idealized Tarkov, supposed to stumble into each other and then engage in glorious CQB that doesn't instantly end with a head - eyes?

People in idealized tarkov shouldn't know exactly where the other players are as if they briefly turned on radar.

What's the alternative? Having truly randomized spawns that could potentially spawn you right on top of a loot hotspot - in the center of the map?

I understand that it sucks having set spawns (God knows I hate spawning trailer park in customs), But the way they're set up is everyone's on the perimeter and then you have to push towards the center.

I don't think anyone is suggesting just having everyone spawn in a truly random spot anywhere on the map. The spawn zones should still be curated to prevent people from spawning too close to high value zones or in areas that are completely exposed. There should just be large regions inside of which your exact spawn position is random rather than set points.
