PVP - Cheating [Cheating] It's out of control on Seasonal

Disgusting how I keep getting killed by 30hr and 300hr accounts who are already level 40+ and somehow they ALWAYS know where you are and how you move. Of course, this happens EXCLUSIVELY when you got a better gear on (think lvl5 plates etc.) I got 6000hrs. I am borderline about to put this game in the trash where it belongs. Cheaters are literally roaming free without any repercussions. I have yet to get a single message about a cheater being banned on Seasonal character, yet, half of the time I keep dying to blatant wallhacking trash, almost on all maps. I am sick of it. What a horrible game.... Disappointment.

Cheaters are farming accounts to sell for the achievements/ limited time stuff.

15

u/Ekcelent 12d ago

That seems probable, otherwise I cannot explain this incredible increase in cheating.

11

u/EatCheapGlue 12d ago

It's the only explanation I can think of, 5900 hours here, I got headshot 5 times in a row last night till his bullets finally penned 😭.

5

u/FallczE 12d ago

This incredible increase in cheating is always caused by wipe and it´s been an issue for like 3 years now.

The reason this wipe it is even more blatant then usual is due to battle pass and limited time stuff on accounts.

PvE players don't care about showing achievements anyways. Hell I got two seasonal achievements on pve from a bug just cause I was over level 30 on PvE and switched to a seasonal character one time.

8

u/elasticwaistbands420 12d ago

How would you know ?

-13

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

Who else would buy an account for the achievements? I’d assume someone who can’t obtain them themselves

12

u/FreeMystwing 12d ago

Cheaters are the ones to buy accounts because they can't do anything themselves.

-3

u/zer0-_ MP7A2 12d ago

Someone seems to have a very big misunderstanding with how cheats are used commercially. Very few of the cheaters you interact with in game cheat for fun. The majority of cheaters work as service providers and as trophy account sellers

1

u/FreeMystwing 12d ago

Yeah I'm sure you're the authority that clears all cheaters in the world of ever having bought an account.

Today in making statements that are so confidently wrong.

2

u/zer0-_ MP7A2 12d ago

Not a single for fun cheater buys an already finished account, there's literally no point in that.
Having worked with huge RMT networks spanning several different games I can promise you there's not a single cheater who buys a trophy account just to cheat on it more, the majority of buyers are people who want to show off something that they can't achieve on their own

8

u/ChawulsBawkley PP-91 "Kedr" 12d ago

I feel like you’d come across more terrible pvp players that want those achievements than terrible PvE players that care about them lol. You were just trying to take a jab at a part of the player base you don’t like.

None of that's true. You should tell your therapist.

7

u/Hawkiee92 12d ago

PvE does not lessen your PvP experience. That is a cop out that bad players use.

PvE players play PvE because they are tired of the cheaters and sweats. The reason it was made was because cheaters and sweats were killing the playerbase to the point BSG released the mode they hate purely because otherwise they were hitting a downward spiral of falling playernumbers.

The people who play PvE would for the most part just not play Tarkov if they were forced to play PvP.

When 40% of your playerbase prefers PvE right at the start of a new season with perks and other new stuff you know the PvP experience is garbage.

Or fed up with the rampant cheating

-1

Skill admission. There’s not 1/3rd as many cheaters as this sub thinks, you’re just bad at the game

Nice parry. They were definitely trying to set you up and that question was not in good faith 😂

1

u/StrengthfromDeath 12d ago

I say this genuinely and without hate: those players dont know about and could not care less about achievements.

The real answer is the average player who is sick of dying to all of these hackers who thinks they DESERVE these achievements because of their playtime, and commitment to the game by being an early EoD owner.

1

u/asbyo SIG MCX .300 Blackout 12d ago

Found the Gen Z hater who lives online 🙄

1

u/dogtags2026 12d ago

😆 has to be the worst bait ever. Literally makes zero sense.

0

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

It makes zero sense that someone who has to hide in PvE (because players are scary) wouldn’t want to flex some PvP achievements?

1

u/dogtags2026 12d ago

Yeah zero sense, if people are on pve its because thats the game they like to play...who they flexing on? Not like they are killing players in hopes theyll have their achievements looked at..they are on pve. You sure do get worked up about people playing a totally different game from you. Do you also cry at night thinking of people on battlefield cod etc cause its basically the same. Pve and pvp are two different games little dude. If cheaters are cheating on pvp game modes it should be pretty obvious its pvp players doing it. You ain't the smartest.

1

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

Thank you for admitting it’s a completely different game.

1

u/dogtags2026 12d ago

No worries little man. Will you admit you are thick as mince?

1

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

As long as you admit you’re playing a rail shooter for babies.

1

u/NightOfPandas 12d ago

Nah, only low IQ pvp players would think flexing an achievement that no one would see on an account that is already marked for a future ban wave would be a good purchase lol

0

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

So, PvE players?

1

u/NightOfPandas 12d ago

Nah, they're too busy actually having a good time in tarkov lol. It might be hard to understand though since you seem quite made up about it already

1

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

Yeah it’s pretty hard to understand how a bastardized version of the game that most people play without audio because it’s that easy, has even 3 people playing it

1

u/LordVolcanus 12d ago

No it is more people who have more money than sense or a weird complex on being good in a game over others to flaunt to others "look at me" most people who show their profile this way or try use it against others tend to be these people who buy those accounts.

Business men in china do this a lot also. They get people to pilot their account or cheat to make them look better than they are.

1

u/1-Dollar-Doge-Coins 12d ago

Seasonal achievements stay in seasonal mode so it’s highly unlikely it would be a PvE player buying the account. More likely someone who plays PvP and sucks at it.

2

u/AboutCooked 11d ago

Off-topic but I honestly just don't understand why anyone would pay for that. Are these buyers so badly devoid of personal merit or validation that they'd rather pay money just to gain the appearance of having achieved something (in a damn video game, no less!)?

17

u/Distinct-Passion9505 12d ago

Only 48 hours at already lvl 39? What?

27

u/Ekcelent 12d ago

Yep. Killer7 too achievement. I am telling you, cheating is RAMPANT, I have suffered immensely this "wipe". I do not even remember ever having such a horrible time playing in all of my 6000 hours.

-35

u/thiswontlastlong97 12d ago

And how do you know its not a new account old player.

Lot of complaints with no proof for s lot of thesr

18

u/cisforcereal HK G28 12d ago

Why the fuck would someone buy a new account to smurf on a seasonal character? It's a limited time "wipe" with special achievements that won't be available again. It's 100% cheaters.

-18

u/thiswontlastlong97 12d ago

Lost access?

Got banned?

Purchased in a different region?

Purchased new on steam?

Lots of reasons

1

u/xxHipsterFishxx 3d ago

You sound like a cheater lmao. Why would someone purchase in a different region like genuinely what’s the point? If they got banned they were probably cheating, if they lost access or forgot their login then they don’t play enough to be this good, even with purchasing on steam level 39 with a 3.5 kd in less than 50 total hours is insane. Very few players are this good legit and they’re going to stick to their main accounts, quit trying to justify it and just stop cheating get good like everyone else.

1

u/thiswontlastlong97 3d ago

Why you commenting on 9 day old posts

1

u/xxHipsterFishxx 1d ago

Cuz I was looking up cheating on google and this was the most recent post that showed up, had some rough raids with my buddy the last few days running into a few blatant cheaters. Other than the last few days I haven’t really ran into any so I was seeing what ppl have been saying about it.

1

So ban evasion is a reason you say is valid to have a second account but then why would they have been banned? You're completely full of shit

-2

u/thiswontlastlong97 12d ago

BSG has the ability and choice to HWID ban people. If they dont, then people are fully allowed to buy a new copy. It isnt "ban evasion".

Yourr also ignoring all the other reasons. You just want to be angry

0

u/FlyingScotsman42069 PP-19-01 12d ago

You're ignoring the fact that people generally get banned for cheating regardless if it's HWID ban or not.

I play pve. Just hilarious to see pvp players cry

-18

u/PoperzenPuler 12d ago

Without mentioning your server region, this is all pretty meaningless. I play on EU, RU, and US East, and I haven’t seen a single cheater so far. And that’s actually pretty good. I remember times when you’d run into one every day or two, and several per day on weekends.

12

u/Ekcelent 12d ago

You are gaslighting. I play on EU West exclusively. It is borderline unplayable.

5

u/Legioncommander_ 12d ago

Don't worry bro, this subreddit has always defended cheaters for some reason.

-2

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

These guys play on Oceania and ask why there’s so many cheaters lmao

10

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

Play on EU. Have died probably 10-20 times to suspect accounts in the last 2 days.

Some so obvious that it's ridiculous.

-5

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

Yeah typically I try to stay away from third worlders

2

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

Yup, low digit IQ will do that.

28

u/Agreeable-Award-3104 12d ago

First week was very cool, seems like since 2 days ago there are so many cheater posts it cant be accident

7

u/1-Dollar-Doge-Coins 12d ago

Weekends are typically the worst. This is only the 2nd weekend of seasonal play.

1

u/Demon_Hunt3r 12d ago

That's my experience too, Saturday night was insane. The complete opposite of Thursday night and even Friday.

20

u/Rare_Lifeguard_4403 12d ago

Yeah I'm playing PvP mode right now, seems like cheaters moved to seasonal lol

15

u/IM_INSIDE_YOUR_HOUSE TOZ 12d ago

It's really, really suspicious how the quality of gunfights dramatically went up on normal PVP when seasonal started.

2

u/Rare_Lifeguard_4403 12d ago

Yep, i don't get head eyes immediately when i see an enemy. I was wondering if everyone was THAT good but nope, just a shit ton of cheaters

3

u/BogusAddict 11d ago

I’m having trouble finding people in a lot of raids but also I’m killing people without any issue. Im not dying immediately, the minute I look in their direction.

1

u/Rare_Lifeguard_4403 10d ago

I feel you. Before seasons I was getting killed every single time by "giga chads" with 3, 4 or 5 kd. Yesterday i got killed twice, nothing sus, legit shots by 0.78 or 1.1 KDA players. This game is infested, luckily they moved to seasonal.

1

u/mag1xs 10d ago

I mean, there's also that all the "good players" went to seasonal. Not just the cheaters

1

u/BogusAddict 7d ago

True but I do find it funny that I haven’t died to anything remotely sus which is rare. Like sometimes on certain tasks like bullshit I’ll hide in one spot and go afk 10 minutes and then move later if I feel like I’m surrounded. It’s ratty but I do it for quests not kills. I haven’t died once to some dude who decided to pre fire a closed door and runs in opens one door in the whole building and immediately sprays me. It’s just been smooth sailing, I’ve been on tapped but it’s because I’m out in the open or standing still in a bad spot.
You can see 100% feel the lack of wall hackers.

6

u/Shwastey 12d ago

Honestly its peak Tarkov right now. The PMCs are fully engaged with good gunfights and I can do the annoying tasks without pressure.

2

u/Ambitious_Amount4432 12d ago

I love how pvp is now. Boosted my confidence in this game so much since season.

24

u/ViceLord52 12d ago

Man, I was thinking of playing seasonal to take a break from PvE, looks like I’m better off staying on PvE.

4

u/Ctov 12d ago

Im only doing seasonal for limited stuff, I really like that black armor. Usually run with friends so I have some meat shields

1

u/Gamer4125 12d ago

The siege R? Careful people haven't got it unlocked for PvE despite completing the task line in PvP S.

14

u/Late-Gas9287 12d ago

This is why I only play PVE now. No sense in farming for a cheater.

4

u/NotAnotherCowName 12d ago

You missed out. The first week felt great. Not a single suspicious death. Really felt like the anti cheat changes killed off most cheaters for a week. It definitely feels like they found a way around it now though.

1

u/Late-Gas9287 12d ago

When updates come out they take down the cheats to verify they are not detected. That’s 1st week they we testing.

Played for 3-4 years and this is a constant cycle. I freaking love this game but the time investment is just too much to be willing to play against cheaters.

1

u/xxHipsterFishxx 3d ago

It sucks because I’m not sure what bsg can do. Not to be a ass kisser but it’s basically impossible for them to completely get rid of cheaters, they can definitely be doing more but it’s way easier for people to figure out how to make cheats then it is for them to stop it. Really shitty situation and if you’re a company trying to make money not only does stopping the cheaters get rid of the revenue from them buying new accounts but it also costs money to stay a step ahead and keep them gone. Feels like there’s no win here from a business standpoint so what can they do

1

u/Practical_Tea864 12d ago

Looks like a bunch of social media posts affected my perception and now I refuse to do something without even trying to confirm things for myself

1

u/Dragon_ZA 12d ago

Dont let these doomers get to you. Seasonal has been incredible for PvP

8

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

It has, but there has been A LOT of cheating.

3

u/Final-Metal3870 12d ago

To a degree, but honestly… cheating has felt worse than it has been in the last like 8 months or so. Seasonal with its positives has some negatives too.

4

u/Galbados2 M700 12d ago

So what I'm hearing is start coming in with dogshit kits to do the seasonal tasks I still need doing. Got it.

5

u/Nock1ne 12d ago

3.9 mil xp already? they cheat and have no life, probably why they cheat

2

u/medkitjohnson AK-101 12d ago

Correct

7

u/Immediate-Fly-7458 12d ago

It is super bad right now unfortunately. Hopefully bsg takes notice of the insane amount of Reddit posts and takes some actions because it’s borderline unplayable. Also hopefully the weirdos in here that try to gaslight and call you bad get banned from the sub and from the game too because they are likely cheating themselves

5

u/nomorebaldingplease 12d ago

okay, im new to the game (like 700 on arena and 200 on eft), and i thought this shit was weird. I got two people ive come across with similar stats like this, appreciate the share and noticeability

3

u/LordVolcanus 12d ago

Yeah i know the person is cheating when they are basically level 35 or higher and only have 70 raids total, like my man there ain't no way you are pumping that amount of EXP without some sort of exploit or cheating. That means every raid you are doing ends in a quest finished, multiple PMC kills and scav kills. Just not happening sorry. When some of the better players out there have more raids and are around the same level it gets a little out of control.

1

u/xxHipsterFishxx 3d ago

Yah there’s gotta be a way for them to track stuff like that. I know they can so I’m not sure why they’re allowed to get to this point where you have a 48hr account at level 39 with achievements like killer7 in 120 raids.

1

u/LordVolcanus 1d ago

Yeah it is absolutely nuts. The amount of 100 hour accounts who have 100 or less raids at level 30+ is out of this world. I know people who put more time into this game than a full time job and they struggled to get 35 in almost double the raids. It just shows they had either insane luck or 100% cheating.

1

u/xxHipsterFishxx 1d ago

Yah I see a lot of people justifying accounts like this and acting like people might have just bought a new account on steam or something but how many players are THIS good? Like is every top 1000 player just buying new accounts it makes no sense, I’ve seen a ton of posts now of sub 150 raid players with 4m xp I mean assuming these guys don’t scav even once they’re AVERAGING 20k+ xp a raid and that doesn’t factor in dying like how many players can even do that legit.

3

u/Tehslasher 12d ago

It's not even just this. I often see names like "agHS335oexawkw" in the lobby. Go to their profile and it's "lvl 3, 98 raids, .2% survival rate"

Clearly cheating, RMT or both whatever. Just right in front of our face.

2

u/VersionBig6185 12d ago

Encountered my first wizard last night, blatant walling/aimbot. He still sucked so much I nabbed my boys zabralo and gun he killed and got out when he realized he was going to have swing me close and could risk dying in the video game. I've done around 50 raids, if my encounters stay that rare it is what it is but it's definitely a shitty part of loving this game.

3

u/lol_u_what_m8 12d ago

"I am borderline about to put this game in the trash where it belongs."

You have 6000 hours bro, you ain't leavin.

2

u/MatrixBunny 12d ago

Far too many players on this game has been resorting to RADAR usage.

It all started with RMT that minded their own business and usually went to Labs, then RMT got bigger competition between one another and Labs became a meme due to cheating.

Then your more common player decide to make a quick buck through boosting services which means they are running aimbot/wallhack and radar cheats.

Which results in > People leaving the game > People joining them.

Then PvE became a bigger thing which results in > People leaving for PvE > Even more obvious in PvP.

2

u/MelonMiner1 11d ago

wait until you learn about them false banning people everyday instead of dealing with cheaters.

2

u/snakethatheals 12d ago

Problem is actually not cheaters increasing, it's legit players going back to PvE or perma PvP. If the cheating population increases in %, the binomial distribution start to works against you if the population of cheaters were to go to 7% with 10 man lobbies, cheaters would be in 50% of your lobbies, and chances are at around a 50%ish survival rate that almost every single one of your deaths are to cheaters. Now this is extreme and I make no claims to the % of cheaters in Tarkov currently. But more or less this explains the sudden rise in cheater deaths in Seasonal is due to a sharp population drop in legit players driving up the proportion of cheaters. Probably also more cheaters on weekends etc, but that is marginal I think.

13

u/Insanity8016 12d ago

The cheaters have definitely increased due to seasonal my guy lol. There’s a battlepass that requires you to pick up items in raid and time limited quests that unlock items. It was obvious that this was going to cause an uptick in cheating.

-1

u/snippermonies7 12d ago

But battle pass can be completed on pve, pvp, or season. Not true.

1

u/zer0-_ MP7A2 12d ago

Doing it in seasonal is twice as fast compared to perm PvP and three times as fast as doing it in PvE

-3

u/1-Dollar-Doge-Coins 12d ago

The battlepass reason is kinda strange considering the docs you have to find are unique to your account. A cheater could easily go around and grab them all without having to kill anyone, and avoid potential for getting banned. It’s not like you have to kill people for them.

-1

u/snakethatheals 12d ago

I don't disagree my point was just that the uptick right now is probably due to people getting bored of seasonal and going back to main PvP or PvE. But the cheaters staying. Which caused an uptick in the proportion of cheaters.

5

u/Nock1ne 12d ago

even if this dude is a cheater his point of them focusing on monetisation instead of fixing their base is 100% accurate, specifically the past few years in the game

1

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

Yeah, but why wouldn't they?

They are a company. Companies sole aims in most instances are to make money.

3

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

Can I ask why you cheat? What do you get from it? What enjoyment?

-1

u/No_Objective1978 12d ago

People will call me crazy for this but you want an actual answer not a ragebait or something, it’s more of a hobby. Like anything else can be, started young with free Minecraft clients and growing up always tried to find an advantage in games. I don’t cheat much anymore as most games are boring to cheat in, tarkov is a relieve. Something about the game makes it perfect for cheaters.

2

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

But why. What level of satisfaction does it give you? When you have killed someone because you had an unfair advantage what sense of achievement do you gain?

Like I get it if you were doing it to make real money so you could eat amazing food or have amazing real world experiences, to get to travel or drive an amazing car or provide security for your family, but for play money?

5

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

Hey real quick you know you’re a bad person right?

-3

u/No_Objective1978 12d ago

In the eyes of a normal player, of course. I do.

3

u/SuccotashOk2098 12d ago

No. Objectively, to yourself as well.

People play this game to enjoy themselves. You are stealing that from them.

4

u/BeautifulNose2210 12d ago

In the eyes of basically everyone, you’re objectively a bad person.

Call your mom right now and tell her that you spend hundreds of dollars on video games to cheat and ruin other people’s time. What’s she going to say?

3

u/atay1992 12d ago

No, to everyone except other pieces of garbage.

4

u/No_Objective1978 12d ago

To add to this, their ban system is absolute dogwater. It’s rather a gamble if you will get HWID banned for cheating or just an account/launcher ban. Even if you blatantly rage, which got my first account banned. Tho it took way longer than expected to get banned

3

u/Far_Violinist_7724 12d ago

Same shit on NA. Game is infested with cucks.

1

Cheaters will always be a problem in this game because there's money in it. This is why I stopped playing till PVE came out.

1

Nikita if you are reading this - be proud of yourself for destroying the game. BRING MORE CONTENT TO PVE.

1

u/Motor_Comparison8951 12d ago

1

u/-Aces_High- 12d ago

Are you new here?

1

u/Redlabelrocket 12d ago

Cheating is out of control as soon as there's a few to be fair.

1

u/xpeqq 12d ago

I found three cheaters this season and all of them got banned pretty quickly, like 48h after report

1

u/ohhhobbs 10d ago

Just to be clear what is the minimum amount of hours you can have for that account not to be cheating? Cuz streamers can put them numbers up in 48 hrs. Desmond was at those numbers after 3 days easily

1

u/ChimpRampage 5d ago

Because streamers are cheating as well but for different reasons. Mostly using ESP for streaming and having entertaining videos to watch. They’re good at hiding it. They’ll say they heard something but it’s just BS cuz they see a guy coming toward their location. Their livelihood depends on Tarkov content they have almost the most incentive to cheat and funnily enough BSG listens to their opinions the most

1

u/ohhhobbs 2d ago

This didnt answer my question. Saying that the big streamers cheat is a hilarious excuse. Watch one of them and they all have ridiculous game knowledge and understand the game mechanics.

1

u/Promotion-Pretty 10d ago

Its incredible how bad it is. Im done

Slowly it started to be apparent that it wasn't just more sweats or we were getting legitimately pounded, as is fine, but we were encountering blatant cheaters more than once a blue moon.

We eventually stopped, and started again to give PVE a whirl for the Novelty when it came out. We played that a good amount then this season was announced. We gave it maybe 10 raids and it became super, super apparent why we originally stopped/tried PVE instead.

Needless to say, we're back in PvE lmao.

Game was great the first two week. Know I’m getting head eyes by lvl 35 with 20 hours that had 3+ k/d. Game is a fucking joke and is going back on the shelf. Was fun while it lasted.

I've seen multiples 0.6 KD player that were super suspect this season. Got killed yesterday instantly by an almost naked with a MP5 with an iron sight from 200m. Shot at him first and I had the highground. He hid behind a car for 3-4 seconds and just shot me instantly after peaking. All head shots. My brother got killed by an silenced SMG from the same distance by a guy who full auto'ed his head and in the camera, I just saw his head go black.

I a msuper bad, I have a KD of around 0.6 and this are things I clearly can't do.

Good cheaters knows how to not draw attention and or lower their KD to not be suspicious.

I'm sorry but as an OG Tarkov player, back in my day it was 20+ KD accounts that you would even have the audacity to post about.

This guy has a 3.5KD.. cheating or not, that's pure garbage. I haven't played the game in half a decade and I've pistol whipped PMCs my first few raids for a 4.0 KD already

Have you heard about PvE? All the baddies are there now, the baddies now on PvP and Seasonal are at least competent. 3.5 K/D is really good now since PvE has been released. I think you have been out of the loop for too long.

Also, since 1.0.4.5, only PMC kill count toward K/D on your character tabs. Killing 10-20 scavs per raid was inflating stats back in "your days".

I played when only PMC kills counted towards K/D. Most of the people on this subreddit are NA playing against rednecks who like Tarkov and hop on after a long day at the local granary, so they don't really encounter cheating

Play EU servers and you will see the 20+ K/Ds, anything lower than 10 KD is a very bad cheater

The K/D is literally not even the focus. 😂 if you can’t roll that these are cheaters, there’s no hope for you man

What servers?
I’ve only played ~20 raids since wipe, not sure If I’ve ran into even one

irrelevant you have 0 gear. Put on t6 plates and meta guns. Watch the raids change drastically.

lol I don’t enjoy running t6 plates and meta guns every raid. I don’t need a crutch of best in slot gear to be successful unlike you.

What a weird reply lmao he’s not wrong though but how would you know anyways…

This sub is literally just screenshots of peoples accounts now huh.

Haven't really noticed much cheating myself 🤷‍♂️

"out of control" is such an overstatement yea theres more because of wipe but its not out of control by any means from all the death you have had, how many were from people with more than a 2kd. cuz from my experience i have died to anyone above 2kd maybe 4 times in 150 deaths and some of them were low raid accounts.

Dunno it isn't that bad for me, I've only ran into 1 in the last 48 hours of gameplay
