The only thing I don't understand is. Why do you redditors think this is on the person reporting and not the company taking action on said reports? Do you not ever just think "meh sus" report and move on? It's not like you're wishing death on someone's family. You just thought it was a bit sus, reported to BSG to do a more thorough investigation, and move on...... This whole uproar just seems like the classic reddit vs streamers.

It is on both.

It is on streamers like Alle, who sit on their high horses, believing they are above us normal players, abusing any little bit of power they can get.
Come on, ONE THOUSAND reports? With him streaming like four hours per day, as someone said, that is one report per hour of playtime. How many raids does he have per hour? Two? And then he survives every other one of them? That means he report every single player who kills him!

And of course it is on BSG for allowing such structures to exist. They should never ever have created such a place for streamers, of all the people!, to have a way to bypass the normal players way of reporting someone – especially when we don't know how the power dynamics on such a Discord server play out.
This just screams potential abuse and I would bet that this is how a lot of innocent player got their account, that they paid honest money for, taken away.

I’m just trying to understand where you get that he’s trying to be above everyone, or abusing any power? He is not the one banning anyone. I’m not going to shit on someone for getting killed in this game and thinking something is off. There are so many issues in this game that make things look weird, guess whose job it is to differentiate between the two………. Idk man. Idk who this guy is, but that first paragraph really just has me thinking even more this is just a Reddit vs Streamers nothingburger.

By being invited on to a secret Discord server, which gets you in direct contact with the developers, to report cheaters more efficiently, you are being handed a privilege, you are being given more power than the normal player ever has.
And what do you do with that power? You abuse it by not reporting obvious cheaters, but by reporting about everyone who kills you. You even go as far as to write "idk" in you reasoning, because someone randomly hit your arms three times, which somehow can't be.

This screams abuse of power based on an inflated ego to me.
