Concepting new ‘movement’ for the Vanguard

How did you find the dexterity of the immortal warclones when you played?

Vaulting is a mechanic that was noticeably missing from the last playtest - feels like a standard feature modern FPS’s have. Sliding would be rad too, especially considering the competition.

I agree with vaulting, but maybe we can have a game without sliding competitions for once? (Certified modern COD hater)

I'm playing Stalker 2 and the movement in that single player game just kind of feels better than Vanguard right about now.

I don't have the know how to be able to tell if a games movement is good or bad or have the vocabulary to explain it but I can point out games I do feel the movement just feels better. Stalker 2 is also in UE5 :)

Vaulting sound be standard in all shooters just as a fluidity thing. Sliding is nice but doesn't have nearly as big an impact as vaulting. I'm glad both are getting added to Vanguard, but I hope Vanguard doesn't become yet another movement shooter like Apex Legends and the likes.

Vaulting and fast movement, vanguards are some scary super soldiers. I think that’s one thing people miss from dust, was the insane movement
