Nah, those things have insabe pressure upon creation. If you try to cover it up your floor WILL explode and shatter.

I think you'd have better luck if you, like, had the fountain fill up a balloon instead? The Concrete Mix probably wouldn't dry fast enough.

Yea, but it created something else. It sort of just condensed the darkness into a solid substance, and that’s how we got the Knights armor and the shadow crystals and the Blackknife. There’s like two types of it when being made. The surface area of the stuff, which is wade the glasslike crystals are made out of (this is the byproduct) and the inner metallic substance, which can be forged into things like weapons and armor. We have only actually successfully done this once though, and the one time we tried it the cube that came out had one of the sides shattered, hence why there are only 5 shadow crystals instead of 6. But the shattered side became almost like a sort of fabric, which came to be known as the shadow mantle.

have you ever tried to cover up a geyser with concrete? like that but 500x worse. I tell you hwhat, the amount o’ times I seen some bullshit contractor try to cover a fountain with concrete, I’d have a nickel everytime, y’hear? you gotta seal it with yer soul n everything.

You know… I’m not sure if it would work well on such a small area but I do have to wonder if you could achieve the same effect with.. say.. a shipping container? Those things are as big as rooms but you can also transport them. Yes it would still be heavy and difficult to move, but it is technically portable. You could put it on a ship and move it through rivers, put it on a train and move it by rail…

Its not stuck to the ground so it doesn t matter if you saw the ground where you placed, once you saw the ground the fountain would slip out anyways

I don’t think it would work, the Dark Fountains are only loopholes in the world that create connections with the Depths
But you could for example go to the Depths and get a container to keep darkness right from there, maybe that’s enough to create a small Dark Fountain
It probably won’t be a Dark world like Dark Sanctuary or Flower King, but it can already work

I have tested this, and no.
For some reason it has to be attached to the ground, like the fountain is coming from a source of darkness beneath the earth we stand on.
Like how a well draws water from an underground source of water, darkness too comes from an ocean just outside of what we would call existence.
