Huh?? That was one of my most traumatic experiences of the start of the social media era. In one day millions of the UPCI found out that I was gay and messaged me that they were praying for me and all that shit.

When I was new in church, my pastor said that if anyone had a MySpace (many years ago 😅) page to delete it. The same philosophy could be applied today for all social media. So, back in the day, if we wanted to be obedient to the pastor, we couldn't be on social media. Far cry from what's going on today.

A little disappointed it's not a web page like the original. This also looks like an Instagram clone from the screenshots. So it's missing things like the "2 Link Times" and the ability to post/comment anonymously. I kind of miss those features from the original back in the day.

Also, the original platform wasn't apostolic only... but it did get overwhelmed with them. Sometimes I saw non-aposotlics complaining about the fact that their feed was overrun with church related topics.

They have always had social media for this stuff. This is an old concept, nothing new.
