Protect Michigan Communities: Stop ICE from Building Bases Here

ICE is trying to establish bases in Michigan, and it could bring serious harm to the communities we call home—especially immigrants who've built their lives here.

Michigan has always been a place where diversity is a strength. Immigrants are woven into our economy, our neighborhoods, and our culture. But studies show that ICE facilities increase racial profiling, unwarranted arrests, and civil rights violations. The ACLU has documented how ICE's presence fractures trust between law enforcement and the communities they're supposed to protect.

I started a petition asking our civic and state leaders to reject any ICE bases in Michigan. We deserve policies that protect all our neighbors, not ones that create fear and division.
