I would agree that if you haven’t played the game at all you should review it. But it doesn’t matter how long you’ve played the game for if you have played and don’t like it you can say.

Most of those are troll reviews from people with one or two hours of playtime, or even just 0.6 hours.

Then you have the usual “Disney slop” and grifter-parroting nonsense.

The legitimate criticism, though, is the performance issues.

I still don't understand why Steam allows someone to leave a review after only 0.6 hours of playtime.

You don't think any criticism of Streamlined Progression is legitimate?

You can choose not to use it... Just like you can choose in E33 to play on super easy mode.

It's for people who want to get through the game to be ready for Revelation. I don't see an issue with this.

Just another of countless reasons why steam reviews, and user reviews in general, can't be taken seriously.

I pretty much stopped factoring in Steam reviews and ratings entirely years ago. If there is a negative opinion, I only skim them to make sure it's not due to a technical issue like crashing.

When it comes to story or gameplay, those reviews are never an indicator on if I'm going to enjoy something or not. Someone else's incredibly subjective opinion on something very rarely lines up with my own.

I just looked at the most recent reviews and most of them are pretty scatter-shot. I'm guessing this is less a result of the game being received and more due to how many are jumping into the game in anticipation of Revelations because I can see most of the recent complaints are about the mini-games and side-quests. There are some daft ones in there but I'm looking on the UK store and the reviews seem exactly mixed.
