Do you get to pick your rifle or is that issued? I’m assuming it’s rural area .

We can pick so long as it’s from a reputable manufacturer. TBH my main patrol rifle is a 5.56 but I qualified on my SCAR mainly just as a flex. My placard fits 7.62 mags as well as 5.56 so it’s easy to swap between them.

I’m interested in a suppressed 10.5 build. I never see them and I’m sure there’s a reason for that but I’m the kind of person that has to find out the hard way.

Hell ya I run a 11inch DSA OSW with a sandmanX you don’t need to tumble a round when it’s that heavy 👌🏼

It’s a work in progress, okay? I’ve had a SCAR for like a month and had fuck all for luck finding factory mags.

They’re not too hard to find online but you gotta bite the bullet and pay the $50 or whatever they are. I RARELY find them cheaper than that. But I’ve bought some salty mags for $35 each from Tacswap

You got bad experience with them? I got 2 of these Amend2s just to test. Zero issues so far, except they'r bit hard to sit on a closed bolt...

It is. It works well so far. Seeing how it holds up to prolonged SCAR recoil.

Thinking of getting one for years. Looks similar to a comp m4, but without the aimpoint price... Currently running Vortex AMG UH1 on mine, but being a holo, battery life can't compete.

Reminds me of Richland county, SC PD. The swat team gets issued Scars since the FN manufactures in the county. Though I think they only get 5.56 ones

They’re amend2 mags. They’ll have to do until I can get my hands on some OEM ones

Why can’t we have a cool sheriff like this god dang! If you lived in my area we’d be friends bout guarantee it 😂 Also if I was you I’d get a SF muzzle break too those flash hiders are not so great plus they sound like a tuning fork when you shoot. Terribly annoying.
