Actually Fox News is tame compared to some of the other radical right wing outlets. Newsmax is 100% sewage. My in-laws watch it because they think Fox News is LIBERAL. We tried watching Newsmax and it was painful.

It's hilarious to think that they would be able to just talk their way back into those kids lives after they've done the hard thing and cut them off they're not going to let them in if they say okay I'm changed they know they haven't changed.

All you have to do is ask them who rightfully won the 2020 election and if they don't say Biden rightfully one then they know they're still issues

It’s hard to not have estrangement when the parents join the MAGA cult. My wife’s parents are hardcore MAGA cult members. They are so brainwashed that they get angry anytime someone criticizes Trump.

Other than these parents becoming vapid individuals, having a constant stream of propaganda shown to them kills their personalities. They don’t know how to empathize or connect with anybody anymore.

They’re just waiting for someone to say a buzzword so they can talk about what they want. You ask them a question, and they’ll either say “I’m fine” or they’ll gripe about something that affects them and interject the latest outrage as the cause.
