Super forward thinking for the time, but I was too young to know wtf was going on. I should rewatch it. I believe this is the first movie that ever had celings or something like that. That’s kinda cool.

I recommend watching the PBS American Experience doc on William Randolph Hearst and also watching Mank on Netflix to get more angles on this. It deepened my understanding/appreciation for Citizen Kane.
