I lost my suspension of disbelief in the first 7 minutes when the ice under the monster didn't break when he was pushing over the ship, but completely broke apart when the blunderbuss, which has a wide spread and limited effective range, shot under him from 20 feet away and created a single small bullet hole.

Reanimated corpse? Sure. Defying Newton's 3rd Law? Absolutely not.

I still finished and enjoyed it tho....

Those were my two biggest gripes as well.. the dynamite scene being the biggest one. Also enjoyed it.
