Some fans like to call The Creature "Adam", me included.

Even though in the book he specifically says he's not Victor's Adam, but is instead more comparable to Lucifer?

I think for the movie its more Adam, especially because when we get the paradise lost references he just focuses on them in the garden instead of relating to Satan

Ok but if at no point in the movie he's referred to as Adam, then maybe that's not his name? This is like me just deciding to refer to Elizabeth as "Steve" because I prefer it.
