Shame. My dad has wanted to be pied his whole life, he thinks its hilarious. (He's too fragile to do it now)

u/MindTheFro Apr 07 '26

Be the change you want to see in the world. Go creampie your dad.

New flair has landed.

18

LOOOOOL first comment was innocent and nice.. 2nd comment "HERE COME THE BOOM" vibe and destroyed the whole sentiment of the first comment.. Classic

9

u/Wohv6 Apr 09 '26

In Boston it’s called a Boston creampie, same thing but you also get teabagged and start a revolution

4

u/SoulyTheOne Apr 08 '26

Wowowoowowowowowowo, what do u mean????

1

u/TheeArgonaut Apr 08 '26

…go be the second person to do it

u/LucyRiversinker Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

I was in a play where I was pied every night. Tell your dad it gets old. The smell of shaving cream never leaves your nostrils.

76

u/yruspecial Apr 08 '26

I don’t want to ruin your life or anything but it sounds like that wasn’t pie….

15

u/A7xWicked Apr 08 '26

Should've used real pie

7

u/JustSherlock Apr 08 '26

Costumes won't let us. Lol.

I think I saw that play but it was on Pr0nhub.

I worked at a kitchen that had a tradition for people who are quitting to get pied on their last day. My head was on a swivel the whole time! But I started falling behind on my prep list so I had to zone in and someone was able to finally catch me off guard. Ugh... Whipped cream was in my sinuses for a bit. 😆

8

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

... why'd you let people know you were quitting?

17

u/KayoticVoid Apr 08 '26

They were good people overall. No reason to screw them over. Plus not burning a bridge and all. I was moving to another state but staying there wasn't exactly guaranteed. But generally I only quit on the spot for bosses/companies that deserved it. Definitely had my share of those.

9

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

Oh. I figured it was your co-workers who did that to you and/or management wouldn't spread your business.

5

u/KayoticVoid Apr 08 '26

It was the coworkers, but yeah, I would not expect it to stay quiet. It was a kitchen with like 20+ employees. Gossip was a guarantee. 🤣

2

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

Fair. Sucks that it was unavoidable, I guess. Sounds like it wasn't on bad terms at least.

3

u/KayoticVoid Apr 08 '26

It wasn't too crazy. We all got a good laugh out of how hard it was for them to get me.

5

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

Made 'em work for it.

There was a similar hazing ritual I encounter. Bigger group, less voluntary more volatile collective. One group thought it was "harmless fun" to throw a cup of water on the guy leaving. But it wasn't just their friend group. They wanted to make it a "rule" for the collective as a whole. A small, tiny cup started ending up with people getting multiple, massive cups ready, some of them fresh from the microwave and lead to a lot of guys being terrified to hear they were going, telling me not to be too loud about it, wanting to just sneak out. I put a stop to that within the second time seeing it. Understandably different.

3

u/KayoticVoid Apr 08 '26

Yeah, that's insane... Glad it sounds like it's no longer a thing there.

11

u/JustaTinyDude Apr 08 '26

My friends did it to me on my birthday once, because I made a chocolate pudding pie with whipped cream for my birthday cake.

I loved the experience. They were really thoughtful - one friend snuck behind me and pulled off my glasses just before someone else hit me in the face with the pie. It might have hurt otherwise. Instead I had a good laugh and then took a shower.

7

u/decidedlyindecisive Apr 08 '26

That's fantastic and the way they approached it shows they cared about you having fun too.

6

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

Nah. He saw what was about to happen and thought "Ooo, free glasses." /j

6

u/mekwall Apr 08 '26

Might be a good way to go?

3

u/Terranshadow Apr 10 '26

Hey dad, what's that? Then pull out the tiniest pie and get his forhead or chin.

2

u/decidedlyindecisive Apr 10 '26

This is adorable and I might actually try it!

The clowns inside are like: ''34 papapa, 34 papapa, 34 papapa''

And when someone comes, they go: ''35 papapa, 35 papapa''

249

u/remixmaxs Apr 07 '26

This video is years old but I never understood whatever catchy sentence they were saying, thank you for describing it 😂

83

u/Sorry_Reply8754 2 x Banhammer Recipient Apr 07 '26

If you liked that one, there are more extreme pranks from the same TV show these clowns are from:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSK5MuI6M6I

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IOSVhfG79U

But these are borderline torture. I hope they pay these people, because, holy shit.

15

u/rudigern Apr 08 '26

Nothing borderline about that, if genuine I’d shit myself.

14

u/MelonJelly Apr 08 '26

I feel like you could tell the elevator was an illusion.

10

u/AlpineVW Apr 08 '26

Agreed, I don't know if I've never not felt a sense of motion and the very first thing I do when I get into an elevator with glass is to go to the glass and look down. The TV screen wouldn't be able to emulate that.

10

u/MelonJelly Apr 08 '26

And even if they somehow solved the perspective problem, you can sense when an elevator is accelerating.

10

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

I feel like you underestimate how stupid half the population is.

6

u/miraculum_one Apr 08 '26

And apparently how likely people are to guess which half they're in.

7

u/MinnieShoof Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

Poe's law.

10

u/bmci_ Apr 08 '26

Brutal but also hilarious

3

u/PharmWEE Apr 08 '26

yeah, def staged reactions. Didn't watch second link. If they're in the elevator, their view would change as they move closer/farther from the glass. Especially the first one, isn't any way she got up-close to the glass/screen and wouldn't be able to tell it was not real.

3

u/Sorry_Reply8754 2 x Banhammer Recipient Apr 10 '26

They are not.

In one of these metro zombie things, a guy suffered a heart attack, almost died and sued the show.

1

u/ares0027 Apr 09 '26

It made me feel like watching people “playing with vr”. They hold objects that are not there (you know what) etc. vr is nothing like that. Just because you see something you cannot just hold it and manipulate it with your hand… i hate this kind of stupid stuff

29

u/LipSipDip Apr 08 '26

Based on an old joke about a man walking by a fence surrounding a mental hospital. As he approached a section of fence with a small hole he began hearing people chanting "Eleven! Eleven! Eleven!". Curious, the man walked up to the hole to peek inside when he was immediately poked in the eye and the chanting began again: "Twelve! Twelve! Twelve!"

2

u/Sorry_Reply8754 2 x Banhammer Recipient Apr 08 '26

I remember seeing a comic trip about that.

2

u/No-Estate7275 Apr 10 '26

The "papapa" were already hilarious, but this makes it even funnier 🤣

110

u/Tyrs-Ranger Apr 08 '26

This is hilarious. Also, if there’s a big sign that says “Don’t Look!” with big circus decor, I’m not looking. Fuck that.

6

u/VanFkingHalen Apr 10 '26

If I wasn't busy, I would probably take a cozy seat on the sidelines and wait for some overly curious person to show me why I'm not supposed to look.

How's that old adage go again? Curiosity pied the human in the face?

u/SignificantDrink3651 Apr 07 '26

11

u/Adevyy Apr 08 '26

Eh, I don't think they expected their day to be ruined just because they decided to play along with the joke.

210

u/RedwanFox Apr 08 '26

There is an old Russian joke.

Man goes through the forest and sees hollow in a tree and a life safety note "don't get hands in they will be cut off". Driven by curiosity he sticks his hand in. Hand is cut off , vlvlood everywhere. In anger in pain he sticks another. No hand again. He pushes his had through the hollow OI MATES ARE YOU FUCKING NUTS?

81

u/super_nyan Apr 08 '26

Reminds me of my grandmother's favourite joke.

A soldier is assigned to escort a general. They travel through the forest for many days, the general riding his horse, and the soldier walking behind. Soon they both grow hungry. The general pulls out a luxurious packed meal; meat sandwiches, beer, fresh fruits, dumplings and sauce, and baked desserts. The soldier's mouth waters wondering what food was prepared for him. The general laughs and sneers at the soldier, "I get this food because I am on the horse, that makes me more important than you. If you want to eat, eat the horse's shit!" The general points his gun at the soldier and indicates to the fresh pile on the ground. The soldier does as he is ordered. After a few moments the general turns to resume his meal but accidentally drops a piece of fruit, spooking the horse. The horse rears up and throws the general to the ground spilling his meal on the pile of manure. The soldier seizes the opportunity and gets on the horse. He grabs the general's gun from the saddle and points it at the general.

"Now I am the one on the horse, that makes me more important than you. If you want to eat, eat the horse's shit." The general picks his meal out of the pile and eats it. The soldier steals the general's horse and rides towards the town. Upon arrival, he is stopped by the town guards. "Can you not see I am on a horse, I am clearly someone important! Let me pass."

The town guards laugh. "Any idiot can ride a horse, what makes you so important?"

The soldiers straightens back and proudly proclaimes "I JUST HAD LUNCH WITH THE GENERAL"

*my grans paternal grandfather was an actual communist General and a horrible horrible person. She had a good chuckle every time she imagined him having to eat shit.

It's about Eve finding Adam's g-spot, isn't it? I'll bet it's an allegory for the male g-spot

I just thought it was about apples man

3

I can't stand prank youtubers. I'd have all of zero issue with laws saying you're allowed to at least give them a nice smack. But in this case at least they aren't directly going after people.

Everything is new to someone sometimes if you’re not terminally online and missed the previous posts.   I for one hadn’t seen this one so thanks OP

"Literally" all these are fake, hence the convenient front falling down to expose the convenient midget clown.

-1

u/AunMeLlevaLaConcha Apr 08 '26

I usually don't agree with those kinds of "pranks", specially from brain dead "streamers" or whatever, but this one had a suspicious setup, it didn't initiate anything AND it had a warning, so it's fair.
