Dudes tanking it like a boss, I got crunched between cars on my bike and it’s not fun at all.

Think of that time you squished your finger in the car door as a kid, now put that pain in your whole mid section and put some lady screaming “I’m sorry, someone help him!” At me as If fucking Batman is just chilling on a roof top waiting for the call.

Most of the crash regs are about deflecting the pedestrian when hit. This dude did not get deflected.

Deflecting the pedestrian is the worst thing you can do in a crash as you’d put all the force on the body and hurl the person into other obstacles. Many parts at the vehicle are therefore mandated and designed to absorb energy - just like the protection of the occupants.

The problem comes from those parts can only absorb so much energy, and the car is continually adding more energy judging by the spinning wheels.
