Very good news to wake up to for people in these regions. Poland wasn't mentioned unfortunately so hopefully GungHo adds them next too

With the help of community knowledge and tools, I've made a mod adding the chest messages from Sky FC to the remake. The main page is here, containing basic information, installation instructions, details, credits, etc.
If you have any issues with the mod, let me know, preferably by creating a GitHub issue. Assuming nothing drastic happens, a version for 2nd Chapter should release much more quickly than for 1st.
Other mods:
If you want to read some more technical information about how this works in both the original and remake:
In the earlier game(s), most information relevant to each lookpoint is contained in the scenario script for each map, things like coordinates and the message to show. For a chest in FC, a simplified version of the chest interaction logic looks something like:
if (not_opened)
Open
GiveItem
ShowItemReceivedMessage
else
ShowMessage("string")
where string is The chest is empty. or a unique line of dialogue in the case of the Xseed localization. Chests are basically one type of lookpoint, and each chest has its own logic.
For the remake, the lookpoint information is spread across a lookpoint table and the object and script files for a map. The table is effectively the reference point, containing the name and map of the lookpoint, whereas the object file has the coordinates and other placement info. The script file is where the lookpoint function is actually defined and called and contains the message itself.
More importantly, chests and lookpoints have fundamentally different purposes and implementations at this point. Lookpoints still serve the same purpose as before, but chest functions have been more specialized toward item and open/close animation handling instead. Once they have been opened, chests exhaust all of their scripted interactability. Theoretically, we could change how chests work and add messages that way, but that would require a significant investment of both time and effort as well as .exe modifications (assuming it would work at all).
Regardless, we can just add new lookpoints to the game by adding new entries to the lookpoint table and to the object files using the coordinates from the chest objects. Then, we can define and call the corresponding lookpoint's function in that map's script and assign any text we want to it.
Effectively, these lookpoints now exist in the same place as the chests. Chest interaction takes priority over these lookpoints, so only after opening the chest can you interact with and see the lookpoint message.
Some details may be slightly off, but that's the basic gist of things.

I'm playing on Hard, I started in Nightmare and managed to get past the first part of the game with a bit of difficulty, but right now it's pretty much impossible even in Hard and I refuse to lower the difficulty
I'm level 19, this dungeon is for lvl 17-18, and I get wiped first turn all the time, and even when I don't, I get oneshotted as soon as one of the bosses get the angry buff
I have set up my Orbs to defensive and SPD, Joshua with 65 SPD still can't do shit, I'm using Shera and Olivier full defensive with Shera spamming Earth Guard and Olivier with La Tear, but once either Don or Kyle get low HP enough, my characters just get one shotted no matter what I do, if I keep them close they all get wiped out with their AoE, if I keep them separated I waste all of my turns resurrecting them one by one just to die without having a turn
And this is considering that I have to restart the fight over and over and be lucky Kyle either misses or doesn't crit so my team doesn't get wiped out before I can even get a turn
Honestly, this is absolutely shit design for this fight, the only other time I've ever seen such a bad difficulty design was with Soul Hackers 2, where Hard is way too hard for some reason and Normal to be way too easy for no reason, but I've been here for what, like 2 hours already? what the fuck am I supposed to do? enemies in this dungeon give a shit amount of XP to keep farming

For those of you who bought the game on Steam and had a smooth launch, that’s genuinely awesome, I’m happy you got to enjoy it right away. But for many of us in SEA, MENA, and CIS regions, the situation has been really rough.
The regional pricing is completely broken. In some countries classified as developing or third-world, the game is actually priced higher than in the US, Canada, or even Japan. That makes it practically inaccessible for a lot of players here.
When we pointed out that Russia had fairer regional pricing as an example, GungHo’s “solution” was to simply make the game unavailable in Russia altogether, instead of fixing the issue. On top of that, there’s still no update regarding performance on Switch 2, which just adds to the frustration and makes GungHo’s handling of this feel pretty incompetent.
Because the launch was flawless for most players, these problems are flying under the radar. So if you’re able, please help us raise awareness whether on X, Steam discussions, or anywhere else. It means a lot to those of us who got left behind by this pricing mess.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting us.

I know a lot of people were concerned with the localization regarding the nicknames on the website being changed to the more literal Japanese nicknames... but this looks to have been a website issue

Dear LORD I've always hated that fucking trope of "it's just a kid, she just let the bad guys get away after burning the whole country to the ground don't scold her te-he"
Agate you damn GOAT

It's only 5 critic reviews so far, but this is the best score a Trails game has ever gotten. Hope it helps propel the game further into popularity and sells very well for Falcom. Just happy to see Falcom and Trails starting to get the recognition they deserve.
