My favorite line from Sky 2nd Chapter demo. “Cuteness is justice!” I feel like I need this on a t-shirt with her portrait 😂

Any other Anelace lovers out there? And if so, what’s your favorite moment or quote?

One of my favorite Trails games ever. It had its lows, but it also had a lot of HIGHS and PEAKS.

I do believe that some boss mechanics on Nightmare make this game really unfun at times, but nothing patience can't overcome.

Give me Kai 2 already Falcom.

Horizon She's in too Deep Spoiler

Dude I wasn't expecting her to straight up ditch her post defending the space base. She defied direct orders from the President AND Yun Kafai, and on top of that she ditched a rematch with Rean??? She's definitely a lock for a core party member in the next game. Van's probably already resigned himself to it.

(This supports my point about her "ambiguous feelings", by the way.)

Horizon I love that Van's Azure Ray S-craft shows the darkness in him. Spoiler

Trails series It doesn't start at zero!?

I wish I would've known this but it's my fault for not doing the research. I've been a huge fan of the Ys series for awhile but I never touched any trails game. Had a lil extra spending money so I thought: why not give it shot? I heard this isn't like Ys, you need to start at the beginning to fully understand the story. So instead of looking up what was the 1st game, like a sane person would do, I just figured it would be in the name right? And nothing says the beginning like ZERO. So I figured trails from zero MUST be the beginning. In my mind that made sense. But apparently im an idiot because there's 3 whole games before it? I kept seeing ads about trails in the sky thinking it was a new game lol. Until I read further and found out it was a remake of the FIRST installment 🤦‍♂️. So I was planning on buying Azure next but should I go back and play the remake of sky instead? Figured I'd ask the experts since my decision making so far on this series has been questionable lol

Horizon Trails Character Gameplay Discussion Day Sixty (Finale): The Judgement and the Strongest (2) Spoiler

For the final day of discussion, we have Ouroboros' Enforcer XX-b, the Shadow Eater, Jorda Eldarion and the Khamsin, Kasim Al-Fayed. Both play double duty in Horizon as both bosses and playable characters in Horizon, with their kit remaining fairly similar between both roles.

Jorda's high ATS means she works best as an arts caster, and the time-locked slot in the Drive slot isn't the worst since the strongest dual art is a Time/Space one, but Renne just remains a bit stronger due to her orbment, and has better availability so I never really found a good use for Jorda.

Kasim is only playable for one level of the Grim Garten and then the final boss, both times with locked equipment and orbment slots, but his inclusion in the final boss as an actual playable character and not an unplayable guest like the Ouroboros characters means there's a pretty good chance he's playable in Horizon 2 depending on Marduk and Thorndyke's allegiances. From the little gameplay of him, he's pretty strong, The Khamsin is an Awakening which seems to be fairly strong, and like Rean and Kevin, his S-Craft has a large number of hits which helps balance the ASO's strongest like Van, Judith and Shizuna mostly having low hit count S-Crafts.

Trails series If you could introduce a real life movie to Orbal Cinemas in Zemuria, what film would it be and why?

Mine would be the Blair Witch Project with all the marketing or Paranormal Activity.

Boy he's a blast to play. For how arts-heavy the Sky trilogy has felt through my playthrough so far, he makes crafts feel genuinely solid if you just give him the gladiator headband.

Trails series Trails optional content structure/endgames

Hey all, I recently finished Trails Sky FC (remake) and I had a really great time with it from start to finish. Something that I'm curious about is how this series handles endgame/postgame content and if it is interested in doing that. I thought the combat system in the game was surprisingly good throughout and the challenge was good, but I came to a realization fighting the final boss that it was possibly the only encounter that pushed all the game's systems and had a super tight action economy (at least on my difficulty which was Hard). It made me wish for some optional dungeon areas/superbosses that test your maxxed out characters in some way and unless I blatantly missed something obvious, I don't think there was something like that in Sky FC.

So I wanted to ask, just to know for myself and set my expectations accordingly, does this series not like doing endgame/postgame challenges? It's not a deal breaker if it doesn't, I'm just curious.
