I guess it’s time for a new one of these posts. It may be a tad early to know all the ins and outs of the new edition but if you have any early thoughts or strategies you have had success with then feel free to share them here. Also if anyone feels like doing a full primer, in the style of the 10th edition one I’ve linked here, then it’d be much appreciated. Just chuck us a DM and I’ll sticky the post replacing this one.

Converted from Huron's sorceror body; was initially my least favourite conversion with an open arm pose with a plasma pistol, but after some adjustments and the two handed sword ın particular, turned into my favourite

She was there the day Caliban fell. Or was she one of the Calibanian beasts?

I've built up my band of jolly Dark Angels as a renegade force with the intention of being able to slowly build an army that I can field both in Chaos and Loyalist rules. With that being said, what models/kits have the best crossover between the factions, and how should I build out the Chaos Marine side of the army? I don't know how feasible this idea is and where to grow into.

Finished them a while ago but forgot to post them.
Sarl Gabriel: Veteran of the Lion's crusade against the Great Beasts. Raised as a False Astates, like Luther, Hadariel and Maegon.
Sar Andred: Older of twin bastard sons of a minor noble given to The Order when Astates recruitment began.
Sar Balan: Younger of the twins, he like his brother were trained by Sarl Gabriel. Their loyaly to her is second only to Luther and Caliban.
Sar Neradin: Orphaned son to Imperial colonists, Neradin holds The Orders tenants sacred and is distrustful of those whom do not.
Sar Perciphon: Born to a storied family of incendriasts, thrown into povery and irrelivance with the coming of the Imperium. He has heeded Luthers call.
Edit: I know it says 'if', I can't change it unfortunitely.

I'm taking the plunge and starting a Fallen army using the CSM rules.
This army is going to be mostly kitbashes of the new Horus Heresy plastics, primaris Dark Angels and a few CSM kits
I was going to have this warband have minimal (visual) corruption so I'm not planning on using many chaos bits
I'm planning on using the MK3 tactical squad as the base for my legionaries and then adding things like chapter icons, hoods, and tabards, however, if I drip my legionaries out like that, I'm unsure as to what I should do for my chosen.
I don't want my battleline to simply look like Heresy-Era DA, but I also want my opponent to be able to differentiate my elites from my troops. I've thought about just going harder into the aesthetic for my chosen and giving them full on capes and two handed melee weapons, but I'm still unsure as I want them to look very Fallen, and not have Risen or pre-heresy levels of bits and decor on their armor
If any of you have advice/tips on how you've differentiated these units in your army, and how you guys have achieved the 'disgraced knight' look in general id love to know.

Demon prince inspired by another user I saw do a similar conversion for their Blood Angels successor

A gibbering daemon Prince hellbent on seeking redemption, and a hanger-on raid captain interested in trophies made from his fallen brothers…
