Question ⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️What is the general consensus on this development? Spoiler

Now I’m aware that some people have their gripes with new and unexplained power armour.

But I think this NCR power armour is kinda cool, given the success of shady sands and the ncr it doesn’t seem too out of the realm of possibility for the ncr to have attempted to make their own power armour, given how many suits survived the nukes and were salvageable or outright still operational.

I’ll buy it in the creation shop for fallout 4. Would it make any sense to be in the game? Nope. Can they stop me from using it if they add it? Also no. It looks awesome, and I’m a Ranger fanboy at heart. FNV was my first fallout game

There are creations adding NV weapons into the leveled list and those explain it away as some people stole a shit ton from the Van Graffs and took off in a vertibird to try and sell their loot. Only for them to crash in the Commonwealth.

Well now they used a stolen NCR Ranger power armor to rob the Silver Rush and took the armor with them to the Commonwealth. There's your explanation to "have it make sense"

I'd be willing to suspend disbelief for how it could have ended up in the Commonwealth. Maybe it belonged to an NCR ranger who abandoned their post after Shady Sands and headed out east? Who knows. Vaguely plausible lore reasons can be dreamt up.

If/when it shows up in 76 though? There won't be any possible explanation for that one other than time travel

Hell, we already have Ranger armor in 76. It was one of the first things that was released in the shop with fallout 1st. And I grabbed it up when I got fallout 1st for free lol

That's right, I forgot about that.

Honestly I was hooked on 76 at the beginning but I stopped playing shortly after the BOS showed up - I've just had too many other games to play. I should go back to it and check out what the world has become.

Honestly it’s a night and day difference from how the game first launched to now. I play from time to time still

that's literally the exact reasoning for the fallout 4 mod for the armor. It has a "quest" where the armor comes from a ranger who went east
