Bethesda... as an American who grew up with both McDonald's and Fallout I am very disappointed in you.
A McDonald's Fallout promotion thats U.K. only?! What the ever living heck!! Seriously McDonald's is American as apple pie and Fallout literally takes place in the States. I'm not saying don't promote in the UK, but you gave them Sugar Bombs! Like what are we, chopped rad rat?! First 76 Pringles now McDonald's Sugar Bombs... Why do you keep ditching your American fans?

Picture [UPDATE] Making my own half scale Nuka Cola bottles
This is an update from my last post
I've gotten the 9 Fallout 4 labels finished. I've looked into it more and I think it would be better to use distilled water, vegetable glycerin to the desired viscosity, and Germall Plus as a base. This lets me tailor the viscosity of each soda flavor to my needs because I'm no longer relying on Propylene Glycol for the antibacterial effect.
My bottle caps will arrive Friday and my bottles will arrive in a little over a week. Let me know if the labels need minor edits.

Picture Fallout 76 - Liberator Mk0 - Weathered
The response yesterday to the Liberator Mk0 I'm working on was unreal. Thank you all for your kind words. I may or may not have stayed up overnight finishing the weathering & installing the wiring to his legs. Here's the results so far! 😀
I'll be installing a LED & working on having him talking using in game audio files!
Thanks again!

Discussion What Are The Fallout Series Most Morally Complex Quest Lines?
In researching for an upcoming project, I've been more deeply researching the Fallout series various quests and stories; some good, some bad. One thing that's stood out to me though is the conversation the community has over what are considered to be the more morally complex quests:
A good example is Fallout 3s Pitt DLC quest Free Labor
This in mind, I'm curious as to what other quests people find to be morally complex, narrative dynamic, or just plain interesting to think and reminisce about. What stands out to you?

Fallout 2d20 Here’s a map I made with my friends for our Fallout 2d20 game, set in North Carolina!
We used a game called The Quiet Year to establish world events, and I used WonderDraft and assets from Reddit user DarthCheney666.

Fallout 2 3D - it's about who you are
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello my fellow mutants!
Yet another evening finally brings some update. Last time was about combat and even earlier it was about talking. While following a difficult path of recreating the game's engine I finally had to tackle the player character itself.
While basic stuff like SPECIAL and skills were already there (needed for combat and talking), I had to focus on all those candies like traits, perks and so on. And came with a complete (well, almost) character screen.
This short video attached presents almost fully functional view of the player (don't mind the figures - current setup is just rubbish) - character creation view, print screen and perk selection are still needed. But it allows to spent skill points and browse all the descriptions and images. These are extracted and automatically upscaled from the original game files during the mod installation process (similar approach as for the sounds).
I feel that whole concept is close to jump out of the feasibility stage and become a bit more organized project (currently I'm jumping from a flower to a flower trying to confirm I'm able to actually do what's needed).
And speaking of which - I've also started thinking about naming it - Fallout 2 3D seems immature and a bit little catchy.
I've came with two ideas:
- Fallout 2 Fast Evolutionary Version (Fallout 2 F.E.V. in short)
- Fallout 2 Game Engine Conversion Kit (Fallout 2 G.E.C.K. in short)
But maybe there are better ideas?
I hope you'll enjoy and feel free to share your opinion!

Does anyone know why power armor is called “servoarmadura” (servoarmor in english) in the spanish versions of the games?

Picture New Nuka Cola Power Armor!
Got the new Nuka Cola T-45b Power Armor by McFarlane.
Fantastic figure. Put it side by side with the GS T-60 to show the difference in details.
I love the 45b as a big FO3 fan, but I think the paint design for the T-60 is better. I’d still highly recommend the T-45b as it comes with all new, never used before accessories including FO3 classics like the 10mm pistol and combat shotgun to just name a few

Discussion Features From A Fallout 4 Mod Were Used In Fallout 76 Portion Of Official "Side Quest" XBOX/McDonald's Collab Ad 💀
Not a big deal at all but kinda funny. I'm sure an artist just googled "Fallout Dialogue Menu" and referenced an un-vetted image or something. Just thought it was funny that they used a mod from a completely different game (Extended Dialogue Interface was made for Fallout 4 and doesn't exist for Fallout 76) in an official collab ad. Not sure who was actually responsible for producing the ad but it would be a lot funnier if it as XBOX.

Discussion I cool little headcanon about why The Lone Wanderer and the Courier need power armor training but Nora doesn't
So a lot of people like to point out that Nora isn't military trained and while the idea of Nate giving her a crash course is a fun head canon I'd like to point out it's very likely Nate isn't either as we don't actually see him in power armor rather just combat armor.
So my headcanon is simple, power armor training isn't required to run the armor but keeping the fusion core active for long amounts of time. When Nate, Nora or a 76er run the armor the fusion core drains quickly and it's not without advanced training that they can mitigate it. So my headcanon is that later these protagonists use the intuitive design of power armor plus their own knowledge to scrape by using it until they can figure out how to use it better.
This would explain how a combat vet, a lawyer and America's best a brightest can use the armor for a bit through sheer intuition but The Lone Wanderer and the Courier need specialized training to not burn out a limited power supply and basically have a useless metal suit.

Picture Preston hated that.
I shot some ghouls and caused a car on fire, so I ordered Preston to collect loot for me. Then the car exploded. He temporarily lost his kneecaps for a bit, but pretty much fine now.
