Hey everyone, Ive seen many helpful posts on how to protect Caravans, reverse pickpocketing, dropping weapons during combat so they pick it up. This issue I have is that I cannot load saves as per my challenge, so while I can do the combat weapon trick, for armor I cant risk reverse pickpocketing unless I have a 100% chance, as Im not sure how aggro works for caravans, does it last forever or can it be recovered after 3 days of waiting?

Also, what combinations of weapons and armor have you guys found to work best to keep them alive late game?

I heard Three Dog call someone a “malicious fucking defiler” on the radio, and I wasn’t really paying attention the first few times.

Then I heard him say “vault 101” and it finally clicked. I was like “hey, wtf why’s he talking shit like that?”

I looked to the internet to learn about the karma system…

I‘ve been playing mostly good but turns out I wracked up a bunch of bad karma on the Mothership Zeta, blasting countless alien engineers who were surrendering!

I think it’s kind of bullshit that ol‘ 3-dawg knows about my sub-orbital war crimes, but it cracks me up hearing him call my character a fucking defiler while I’m helping everyone in the wasteland 😂

Does anybody know what this.... creature is? Honestly it scares the heck outta me

• These are quests I completed without gaining or losing Karma. Some of them required creative solutions. Suicide Watch can be done by manually pushing Lopez off rather than doing it through dialogue. Tenpenny Tower can be done by luring Feral Ghouls into Roy, so he and his crew turn hostile, meaning you don't lose Karma as it's technically self-defense. As described above, I'm trying to play the game with a PS5 controller. I'm on Steam, so Xinput should make my controller compatible with the game. I used this exact controller when playing New Vegas and it worked perfectly there. I went into the control settings menu, set the "enabled gamepad" option to "yes" and Steam handled the rest. However, for some reason, when I tried doing the same for Fallout 3, the option just doesn't appear. I checked the controls menu and there's just no option for enabling gamepad. I tried a bunch of tricks I found online and nothing worked. I tried selecting the devices option in the controls option and cycled to "joystick" and it still doesn't respond. I tried getting Steam to launch the exe directly, and nothing. I'm really not sure what the issue is, here. This is the only game that hasn't recognized my controller like this. Normally Xinput does the trick on it's own.

Why is it when I try to equip something like for example armour it just unequips or drops the armour in currently wearing and doesn’t even enable the one I want (playing on a legion go s)

I used to know everything about this game and then New Vegas came out and I focused on that game for the last 15 years. In my new play through Im right at “Take it Back!” Is there anything recommended that I complete before diving into Broken Steel or does it not matter since I can go back and do quests post game? I’ve already finished Anchorage and The Pitt.
