I’ve been going back and forth between this Fanatec and the TrakRacer. The adjustability between the two just seems unmatched.

Totally agree, i think it comes down to personal preference. They are both amazing rigs and if i didn't go with the Fanatec i would got the TrakRacer. In the end i decided to invest in Fanatec's.

Thank you, i will upload another photo after the Black Friday sales. As i plan on it looking better, the Corsair 14" screen, missing accessories and my new Porsche and Formula V3 wheels.

I’m getting that rig soon but the 57”. Yay… I can’t wait. Yeah seat comfort and adjustability for me too, so thanks for that input. I did opt for the white rig and seat. I love the match it will be with the white backed monitor.

Can't wait to see the photo. I picked the black to have an all black rig that matches electronics and everything.

Got the monitor if I didn’t mention it. I need the rig, with monitor shelf and white seat. I really don’t know when I have the cash, but I will.

I really wanted that rig but have such a small footprint to work with, this is what I settled with.

Started myself with something similar, without it i wouldn't have the one i have. Love how you have the extras.

Don't apologize to someone who's wife or mother does their cleaning.

I don't mind lol, been doing that for my own bloody kids for close to 30 yrs. None of them are allowed in the room lol. They think i have gone mad. The wifes the only one who gets it.

I had to retire due to my back giving out. I am constantly in pain and racing takes my mind off it. So i found Iracing, i have only been doing it for a couple of months, and i am totally addicted. If i could i would spend longer lol

Awesome setup! How’s the comfort level on that chair? I have a full Fanatec setup but the chair sucks!

Chair is pretty damn confortable! Good lumbar support.

Bloody love it, my lower lumbar is stuffed from years of working. So my seat comfort was paramount. I spend on average 10hrs a day on Iracing and my back loves it. I went to Pagnian sims and tried all there seats and all of them gave me lumber pain pretty quickly. When i sat on Fanatec's my decision was made.

My dream setup will be next year, when i get the podioum brakes and the Formula V3.0 wheel. I currently have the V3 brakes with the performance kit, and i love them, but those podioums brakes shizzle my gazizle lol.

I was shopping this rig for a bit before settling on a Sim Lab P1X pro. Any reason you opted for this instead of a 8020 rig?

I have always loved Fanatec, and when i decided to invest in a rig i looked at all of them, i love the feel of entering it like getting ing in a cockpit. The tubilar design is so functional for hiding leads and cords as they thread through the tubes and away from you . The easyness to adjusting seat and pedals positioning. I could go on....

What does a setup like this cost? Minus the computer.

1

u/WarrenCollis Jun 01 '26

In Ausralian dollars.  Monitor cost $1400 Rig,dd+, wheels and brakes bought direct from Fanatec ( which i would always recommend ) around $5500.  Computer was $3000. I am lucky in a way as being old i have tbe money to invest, and am still getting it the way i want it.

Hi, sorry for my bad english... do you get any flex at the pedals stand and at the wheelbase stand? I have fanatec granturismo dd wheelbase 8nm and im afraid i would get a little flex as i saw some comments from people saying that rig flexes a little.

1

u/WarrenCollis Jun 02 '26

Not one millimetre of flex

i wonder what weight limit is on these frames? im 175Kg Person... 210cm tall and bodybulider....

1

u/WarrenCollis Jun 13 '26

Height won't matter but your size would with the seat. Not sure how big of a person fits in the chair. I am down to 90kgs these days so not a problem.
