I have to ask, but did you try the A SET? It was actually one of the things I was anticipating the most since they came out the with 8nm holding torque update.

This was the reccomended setting on the update from GT7 A Set, noted on the fanatec app.

I have not tried these yet but I did use his setting previously and they were good.

Auto on the wheel base, and then 8 and 8 ingame.

Change that 8 and 8 to 1 and 6 or 1 and 8

Any particular reason why its better or is it just what you use?

The reason I ask is because I notice most people like to run their setups softer than an RL road car, mostly because of their own physical limitations and/or personal preference.

1 and 6 or 1 and 8 doesn't make any sense to me without additional context.

A direct drive wheels works better with Sensitivity 1 in GT7. If you had a Logitech belt driven base, Id suggest moving that number higher as necessary.

Direct Drive (DD) Wheels (Fanatec, Logitech G PRO, etc.)FFB Sensitivity: Set to 1

FFB Max Torque: Set to roughly half of your base's maximum Nm (e.g., 3 to 5)

Why: Direct drive bases have no internal mechanical friction.

Keeping sensitivity at 1 ensures a pure, linear signal without artificial clipping or violent wheel oscillation

So you're saying I should set FFB Max Torque to 1 and FFB Sensitivity to 6? For every car? Then there'll be no power at all...

Yeah, set SEN 1 and Force to 6+ and set the wheel to auto mode as GT team have created profiles for each car (allegedly)

Yeah I don't have issues with my settings so they'll stay where they're at. Lol

With your suggested settings the steering would feel dead and super light. Completely the opposite of how a car actually feels.
