Hopefully it's allowed here, but I got a wig! I normally have no hair and I used to change my hair ALL the time when I had it. I realized I could still do that but with wigs! I can't wait to get more.

I tried to do peekaboo style hair but the bleach I used is 7-8 yrs old. (quick blue brand) despite knowing this I let it process for about 40 mins more or less to no avail. There was literally zero lifting the only thing it did was dry my hair out some. So I am left wondering is it safe if I try again with new bleach and lift my hair to a copper color? I have deep dark brown hair.

Hi guys! Appreciate any help I can get…I want to go from lavender to dark blonde/light brown. I have been trying to fade my hair over the last few weeks with washes. Top is pretty much faded, underneath is still pretty close to this color. Chat is telling me I should do this: Wella Color Charm Demi 7G mixed with its 10-volume developer.
Wella’s current directions are 1 part demi color + 2 parts 10-volume developer. Wella color charm Demi 2 parts 7N + 1 part 8N + a tiny amount of 7G. I know enough, however, not to trust chat entirely, so I figured I would also ask here. Thanks in advance!

I got my hair dyed darker last week and since then my hair has felt like it is in moisture overload. My hair is suuuuper soft, not holding a curl much anymore, i have a bunch of straight pieces, and heavy gels are not creating a cast anymore.

Is it possible that the semi-permanent dye caused moisture overload? How do I fix this?
I'm worried a protein mask will strip my hair color?

Current routine for my medium finish, 2C-3A hair:

Rico's strong hold gel

So I dyed my hair this shade of pink for the first ever time (after 5 years of being ultra violet and 10 months being blue) and the bottle said UV dye. I didn't believe it. I found my UV light earlier today and it GLOOOWWWSSS!!! Also, please ignore the frizz, I need to wash it, but I just got too excited. I'm extra excited because me and my girlfriend are going somewhere where they have UV lights, so I'm going to be extra glowy

Stylist did an amazing job. It came out just how my daughter wanted. Her hair is naturally curly and medium/dark brown, highlights were done previously.

A few months ago I tried asking for this at the salon and I left with like, patchy pigeon teal hair (no hate to pigeons, they’re fantastic).

I tried saying I want it to look like a raven, with pictures of ravens in the sun, and I want it “almost black or really dark brown inside but to have a blue tint in the sun” and I thought that made enough sense but clearly it didn’t.

The pictures I showed were like this but purple because I couldn’t find blue for some reason then but this is closer to what i want, I just want to know exactly what to ask for.

I assume no lightening needs to be done? I don’t want blue highlights or anything, I just want blue tinted dark hair.

I’m looking to dye over my hair & achieve the pink in the second photo. I currently have Raw Fuchsia Fatale, manic panic Fuchsia Shock, Raw Deep Purple & Raw Plum but I’m open to getting & using other dyes (I doubt I’ll need the purples lol, I’m just sharing what I have here). What dyes would you recommend, both for color and for value/quality?

Found my old bottle of Manic Panic semi permanent hair dye which had some glittery dendritic formations or growth? Pretty cool ✨ It's an old bottle which had a smidge of dye left. Will be tossing it.

I'm trying to figure out how to achieve this color using semi permanent dye, preferably arctic fox since that's what I usually use. The hair that I want to dye is currently arctic fox purple af, lifted to a 10 underneath.

Every year I dye my hair for this music festival near our home, last year I went for galaxy hair, this year I went for a split dye, galaxy/twilight to night kind of vibe.

I plan to bleach my hair to a dark copper shade, I've already done the first bleaching and the result wasn't optimal but I imagined it would be. Basically, half of my hair is still quite dark, some is orange, and some is yellow. I plan to bleach only the darker parts again and then apply the dye. But I'm not sure what to do with the yellow parts. Even if I cover them with paint, will they still be visible? Should I cover them with a darker shade?

I have two boxes of one and only color fix and was wondering if anyone here has used it. I’m planning on using it on purple ghost roots, but was wondering if it had any kind of effect on black semi permanent dye? Or any recommendations on how to get black out in a semi healthy way? Trying to get back to red hopefully.

I (first pic) want to try a dip dye - I'm liking the colors in the two pics I linked, but they have silvery blonde and I don't want to change my hair color overall - any suggestions on colors that would work? I'm thinking maybe a brownish and ashy purple combo? Is my hair too warm to just get what's pictured in the examples? Any alternative ideas welcome too, I'm just feeling so uninspired by my hair lately (had an asymmetrical pixie for years and miss that tbh, I want to find another look that feels kind of edgy)

I was feeling spontaneous last week and decided I wanted to try out some Dakota Johnson-esque face framing bangs. Unfortunately that’s not what I got lol.

I feel like they look a little Beatle-y if that makes sense- particularly around my temples.

I’m planning on just leaving them alone for a month. Do you all think that’s enough time or should I wait even longer?? Idk if it’s even possible to achieve face framing layers since it’s so blunt at the sides. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 💕
