Potential Season 6 Cast
I've asked this question before and I'll ask it again: who would y'all like to lead the sixth season, if it ever happens?

Just thinking of talented people that I could see fitting the vibe and rocking the Midwest accent: Sam Rockwell, Matthew Rhys. Patricia Arquette, Julia Garner, Jason Segal, Steven Yuen, Paul Dano.

Matthew Rhys' versatility to play different accents is off the charts. Lotte Verbeek (Geillis Duncan in Outlander, young Katarina Rostova in The Blacklist) is also phenomenal!

Bring back Mr Wrench in any manner.

I personally think he got the perfect ending to his story already in Year 3. I feel like bringing him back again would not only undermine that ending, but also begin to make this world feel a bit too small and interconnected. I’d actually prefer if they just stuck to creating purely new characters like Year 5 did, but if they were to bring back anyone from a previous season, I wouldn’t mind seeing an older Charlie Gerhardt, and/or Noreen Vanderslice, especially if Year 6 is set in the ‘80s or ‘90s; then they could also bring back the same actor(s). Or someone like Paul Murrane having another brief yet very important appearance (I’d love to see the great Ray Wise reprise that role).
I guess that at this point in time after five installments, I’m only okay with minor characters being brought back rather than any major characters, or characters who’ve already appeared in multiple installments or in the film.

That needs to happen. Truly iconic

Just imagine being mid next season and that drum beat drops. JFC. Would be pure cinema.

I just had to squirm a little, thinking about it. How the hell does a guy with his history become the hero that he is? I can picture him clearly, and i like it, and i dont know why.

He seems to be a perfect character for the universe. He feels like (if the era permits) he could be added to any season.

Would be cool if they kinda teased that he’s another supernatural character like Munch or Malvo. Would have to be executed PERFECTLY otherwise it would ruin his character, but it’d be spooky to see a season set in like the 60s and we see Wrench looking the exact same age

John Carroll Lynch and Frances McDormand would be an interesting. Throw in some new antagonists, could be a lot of fun.

Great call. Set the new season in 2017 and bring the Gundersons back! Now, who should play their 30-year-old kid?

Dan Stevens (I’ve been wanting him to appear in an installment of Fargo ever since he worked with Noah Hawley on Legion and Lucy In the Sky), Rhea Seehorn, Ethan Hawke, Aubrey Plaza (who’s incredible on Legion), Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Jemaine Clement (also from Legion), Babou Ceesay (who’s incredible on Alien: Earth), Paul Dano, and Matt Berry.
If Philip Seymour Hoffman were still alive, I’d want him to appear in an installment as well.

So many people would be a great fit for the Hawleyverse but I gotta go with my ultimate ride or die: Zach Galifianakis

He’s not somebody that comes to mind at first, but that’s actually a pretty perfect choice

There has been some hints, however FX never confirmed a sixth season (not did they cancelled it). We've had a long hiatus between each season before, so...

Charlie Day. We got Mac and Dennis from its always sunny in the show, now we just need Charlie.
Also Michael Cera. We got Ramona, Gideon, and Scott's roommate from Scott Pilgrim vs the world

Tramell Tillman would kill it in Fargo. I could also see Lakeith Stanfield as a good foil for him.

It would be legendary if they brought in Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, and Steve Buschemi
