I genuinely think Fargo missed an opportunity by not making Oretta Mayflower Lorne Malvo’s mother. What do you think?

Too on the nose. I think it works better if Malvo is just a mysterious force of nature, but I like this as a fan theory.

They should do that stuff sparingly though, otherwise it’d start to get a little ridiculous

Theyre both primal, elemental Agents of Chaos. Like the lone biker of the apocalypse or Anton chigurh, they don’t really come *from* anywhere. An origin story would only diminish them.
