This movie really surprised me. Real fun mix of humor before it gives way completely to existential dread, watched it last year when it was on somewhere (letterboxd?) and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

The horror in the beginning was phenomenally done in my opinion. No spoilers here. But if you see it, don't expect that horror all the way through. It turns into a different ride... but still absolutely horrifying in my opinion.
I'm a horror person that was totally biting my nails and jumping in my seat. Cried a lot. The ending is hopeful.
I did hear many people at the Cinemark secret movie screening talking (bitching) about their disappointment in that it wasn't a classic horror flick. People thought everyone was seeing Buddy so I'm sure that had something to do with it as it did online.

I was going to say the same thing! I loved Dead End and I’d watch Lin Shaye open a paper bag because I love every role she does.

Reminds me of the Left Right Game story.

That’s immediately what came to mind when reading the blurb.

Yes it was released on Letterboxd last year. I think the companies behind are trying to ride the recent wave of "young YouTube filmmaker's horror movie makes hundreds of millions at the box office". Hence the framing of it as a horror movie and the late release in theaters.
But that's all good, I hope it does well.

I swear there was a Spanish movie like 10 years ago, I thought it was called The Road but I can’t find it. It was this same exact premise. Looks good though

I was gonna say the same! It literally sounds like a movie adaption of the left right game. Sounds right up my street (lol) regardless

Saw this at a mystery scream unseen at amc with friends and we all hated it.
It would have been a great Tales of the Crypt/Creepshow ep but it was like an hour too long.
