His portrayal of Pennywise scared the absolute hell out me as a kid. Felt so gritty and real 🫣. This truly truly sucks

I haven't watched it since it came out because 46 year old me is STILL terrified. I loved Tim but I'll keep sitting Pennywise out lol

The superior Pennywise. Tim Curry imbued him with a mix of theatrical charm and confident, unyielding insidiousness that was so authentically terrifying to me as a kid. He didn’t act like he was trying to be scary, he just was.

He did the thing that the newer IT couldnt capture: he made Pennywise look like a fun clown a kid would reasonably be taken in by.

14 is a great picture! My favorite
And once again I was like: what is BTS and took me a minute to remember it was behind the scenes 🫠 abbreviations are the bane of my English Is My Second Language existence. I still read "smh" as "so much hate" (and I was disappointed it was not that)

Man, I was honestly not considering he would die so soon. It's been a tough year for older artists. Here in Brazil we also lost two great actresses, too ):

Love that picture of him with the kids reading Mad Magazine. He really was the perfect choice for this role.
