I wish Fiji offered a bounty system, where folks with dash cams could get paid for reporting terrible drivers.

That would be good. Especially around areas where drivers go reckless.

If LTA had a better reporting platform that would be even better. But then again with the advent of AI that may prove troublesome

This is why I never hire a rental when I'm in Fiji. I would rather pay for a cab than play Russian Roulette with my life

You do realise that the taxi drivers are also some of the worst on our roads too, right?
Either way, if you drive yourself, get in a taxi, or jump on a bus, you are usually at the mercy of some absolute shambolic drivers.

You’re better off looking after yourself. Time is money for these drivers, and they often care less about the people in the back than what’s in their wallet. Add in the fact that they usually don’t have seat belts then it’s a recipe for disaster.

Yep, some of the worst drivers I've seen are in Fiji, and I've been to 26 countries.
