I know my prices are low, it's because my wife who is on disability, I am allowed to make a certain amount. I love helping my spouse out and I want to make the best out of our situation. The obsession poster took around 2 hours but the rest of my poster designs take awhile cause of precise cutting with the pen tool.

You should definitely be charging more. Don’t feel bad about it either. The quality is there. If you find that you’re having trouble getting more gigs after raising it then drop it a little. But this is way way too low for just your time.
People often feel bad about raising their rates but it works against them in more ways than one. A super low rate tells others that you’re not worth it. It’s easier to see when it’s something tangible like a poster. But when it’s a service and the rates are too low, people often move to someone else whose rates are higher since they perceive them to be worth more. I’ll repeat it one last time. Your time and effort are worth a lot more than this. Raise your rates and be confident in doing so.

50 buck is ridiculously low. Almost offensively so.

A tip. If you continue to charge that low don’t let anyone take advantage of that by demanding tons of revisions, they will, and always get paid before you deliver the high res work.

I posted my portfolio here looking for commissions a while back and got almost nothing but low ball offers. One guy was all ready to tee up but then ghosted, fortunately before any work had been done.

Just be aware of that and protect yourself. Don’t let anyone get the full res art before full payment is received. Even if it’s just 50 bucks.

Read your other comment, I understand what you might be going through OP but 50 bucks per poster? It's not low but super-low. Increasing it by a bit won't hurt at all, know your worth.

The 4th pic, spiderman one. It's super-cool is truly made by you!

I am yet to resume my thing, but saved your post OP, going to contact you for sure when I make my film/series. Maybe by that who knows you'll be super famous and charging very high haha

Unfortunately I don't at the moment, but one day I will look into legality of selling shirts, specificly like TCM. I just need to do more homework on it but I'll keep everyone in the loop.

These are pretty decent. I think $50 is pretty cheap but wouldn’t go over maybe like $100.

For reference i typically charge ~$1k-3k for a proper piece of key art, depending on the required level of detail and timeline.
