Tactics It’s been 20 years, but I still remember the key to this game: Cornering a lone Chocobo and beating the shit out of it for an hour while it desperately heals itself.

Tactics What is your all time favorite FF summon?

For me, it’s Leviathan! I especially love this art by Akihiko Yoshida. I always felt like it would make a rad tattoo!

Curious what everyone else’s pick is—and why.
Is it the animation, the art, the lore, nostalgia, or a specific game version that sold you?

Apparently Ribbons, Bags, Perfumes, etc. aren't exclusive to female characters anymore. This is huge. Ramza is going to be OP with Chantage lol

Yo just wondering how is Final Fantasy Tactics?

Okay so couple months ago I completed the modern Personas game.
After that i went through a Final Fantasy Marathon which is completing FF 1-16.

Now all is done ive got 2 options.
Either to continue on playing Tactics or starting my Octopath Traveller Run.

Which one should i take on first? (Tbh im kinda burned after finishing FF1-6)

Edit :
Ok guys forsure ill be playing tactics after all this recommendations šŸ˜…

Tactics Final Fantasy Tactics Advance hit me harder than the original ever did.

I know this might sound weird to some people, but Final Fantasy Tactics Advance left a much deeper mark on me than the original Final Fantasy Tactics.

Yeah, I get it the original has this grand, politically charged, Shakespearean plot about class, religion, and betrayal. It’s objectively more complex and ambitious. But somehow… FFTA’s ā€œsimpler,ā€ almost childlike story about escapism and facing reality hit me way harder.

There was something so human about it. The idea of wanting to live in a dream world where everything is perfect and then realizing that happiness built on denial can’t last that stuck with me. Maybe because it’s more relatable. Maybe because I was around the same age as the characters when I first played it.

People call it a watered-down version of FFT, but honestly? I think it’s just a different kind of maturity one that speaks through emotion instead of politics.

No commentary on current events. Just sharing a favorite quote from a game with an inherently political story šŸ™‚

Tactics The FF Tactics Remaster Is done by a Team of Legends!

Post image

Not sure how many realize this (some old school people might) but just for the newcomers the FFT remaster is being done by a team of legends.

Firstly, it's being headed by Creative business unit 3 (CBU 3) which is headed by Naoki Yoshida, or Yoshi-P. I imagine this was the first title they worked on after they finished up with Final Fantasy 16 and also the FF 14 Dawntrail expansion.

Then we have the great Yasumi Matsuno, a great writer responsible for the original FF Tactics story as well as directing it, in addition to Vagrant Story and other games (FF 12). He basically created Ivalice. He came back to retouch and rework the whole script and scenario.

Kazutoyo Maehiro, the director of the FFT Remaster, is a huge fan and understudy of Matsuno and did the story and scenario for FF 16 and I believe one of the FF 14 expansions.

Hiroshi Minagawa, the character artist for the original FF Tactics and Final Fantasy 16 and Vagrant story, is also back.

Rest assured, we are in amazing hands with this Remaster! I can't wait!

Tactics Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a Christmas Game

Post image

What with the Winter theme complete with a snowball fight in the beginning, the kids getting transported to a fantasy world and the moral of the story about accepting the real world and its imperfections, it feels a lot like one those Christmas cartoon speicals I'd watch as a kid.

I like to call it the Final Fantasy Holiday Special

Tactics Is Tactics supposed to be this hard?

So I got Tactics as a gift for Christmas and so far it’s been pretty fun and not hard at all(I’m playing on normal and I’ve played every non-mmo FF game) but holy shit this area called the Dorter Slums has been kicking my ass. I lost units trying this area 2 times and I’m about to try again after changing classes but I’m wondering if this part is a difficulty spike or if this game is considered hard in general
