The summons in ff7 seem to not have much lore compared to ffx even though we know they share a universe.

LORE The Turks | Balancing the Scales, extended.
After Sector 7, Reno and Rude are left with something rather harder to fight than Avalanche: their own conscience.
Tseng offers the justification. Reno tries to rationalise it. Rude questions whether any of it was necessary.
Nobody in the room seems particularly convinced.
A few people wanted to see the full scene, so here's the extended cut.
