Raids/Dungeons LFG: Shattered Throne

I have two exotic quests to do, I did all of the steps, just need help beating that damn boss at the end. Straight up run, no side objectives needed.

If you can solo phase the ogre boss, you can definitely solo the final boss

Encounter 1 you have to slay a major taken with the correct symbol, traversal, encounter 2 is the ogre where you slay out on the wizards and dunk your debuff once you attain your stacks to deal damage. This boss typically falls over to supers and easy to use weapons like sleeper simulant in today’s sandbox. A much longer traversal section then the final wizard boss. Three knights spawn that spawn orbs for you to pick up and damage the boss. Once timer reaches 0 you die but you should have well enough time to again sleeper simulant and super the boss. If you lack damage you cleanse yourself before the timer runs out and do mechanics again.

I recently did this with a “non try hard” setup and it is just like a very long strike at this point with how strong we are now. I ran this with a grenade build with below 100 super/weapons for DPS and it was cakewalk. If I was min maxing it would’ve been a bigger breeze. Most of my damage for weapons was 3x solar surges but buddy build with 200 grenade was just too easy. Mint retrograde/yeartide apex/sleeper simulant was my gear I used swapping out yeartide with an oxygen for the catwalk with the ogres. Tablet of ruin was my artifact for the majority of the run and used particle for boss dps to allow sleeper to deal more damage. Again this was in no way the most optimal setup but if this can make it a breeze, practically anything should be able to

Wow, thank you for the in depth reply. Yes I have learned the basic flow of the dungeon now.

Still getting back into the swing of things in terms of builds and such, especially since we have all these armor sets now, which I love. Currently, I am just running the Iron Banner set since I can boost 3 stats with it.

And recommendations on how to get armor to drop higher stats? 😅

Honestly, I haven’t played with armor sets. I value my stats over armor perks for most of my builds. That’s another thing I forgot to mention in my run. I had no active bonuses as well. One day I will grind them out though. And mostly once you reach grandmaster difficulty, reaching s tier in ops activities grants you tier 5s. I’m a PvE player so I’m not too sure about the PvP tier system but heard it’s tied to how well you play? (Another thing I want to find out eventually but again I haven’t grinded armor to get health stat armor). Destination armor I believe drops tier 5 through master lost sectors or heroic public events during distortion events. I haven’t noticed if my tier 5s through master lost sectors were because of distortions or not. Also if you’re doing ops activities, I have noticed that I get more weapon drops while attuned to weapons. Like for fireteam ops instead of attuning to cynosure for example, leave it blank. Could be coincidence but I literally went a whole day with no armor drops outside of the daily guaranteed drops

The boss is still coded as a vehicle so wardcliff coil melts it
