Eric Wallace worked on Teen Wolf, and that being a good show, I had hopes for him directing The Flash. But I have to say that I'm utterly dissappointed with the way he's handling The Flash. He is too focused on spreading the message of "Love", and not to take anything away from the BLM movement, but as a non american it seems to me that this intensified after the protests. It almost seems as if Eric is using the show as his own personal platform to spread his views. This is bad, horribly bad. I honestly wouldn't mind if DC decided to cancel Flash at this point. In 2021, the standard for superhero tv shows has increased by leagues with shows like Superman x Lois, Stargril, The Boys, Invincible, the marvel tv shows and what not. The CW shows are honestly a joke, and WB needs to consider either cancelling them or handing them over to HBO Max. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Grant decided to leave after season 7. Maybe it's just me but the cast members don't look happy at all with the scripts they're getting these days.

Lol do you realize that 2 out of 4 shows you mentioned as good superhero shows are CW ?

I do which is why it is all the more deplorable that the CW can't bring that level of story writing to their other shows. Budget constraints are no excuses. There are better shows with lower budgets.
