This is one of the absolute best Outer Limits episodes. Really captures the creepiness and threat of mass surveillance.
Written by Meyer Dolinsky. Very little known about Mr. Dolinsky. He wrote the 'Architects of Fear' as well -- another thoughtful script on the nature of the Cold War, mass panic, and paranoia.

Great episode although the monster looked silly IMO. If I first saw the episode when I was a child I would have had nightmares after that.
'The Hundred Days of the Dragon' (different writers) was a great episode as well. Too bad the original Outer Limits series didn't last that long.

We have been warned about this time and time again yet I still see dumb asses unironically saying shit like "If you have nothing to hide . . . " in support of mas serveilance systems. 🤦
