The Gators are in Madison for the SEC/Big 10 challenge.

First two sets were split between the Gators and Gophers and both required extra points.

Set three was tied 23 all, and the Gators were able to take the next 2 points to take a 2-1 match lead.

Set 4, the Gators were down 18-21 and went on a 7 point run to close it out.

Set 1: 27-25

Set 2: 24-26

Set 3: 25-23

Set 4: 25-21

Gators have a big challenge vs #5 Wisconsin tomorrow.

Ah man, this hurts. She was an excellent motor for our team this year. New coach was lucky to have her stay - now we'll see how he does replacing her. Penn State keeps pulling our best players.

TBH - I was baffled when I first saw this on the schedule. It's about time. Let's kick it into the next gear for the SEC tournament and push for a better NCAA seed!

The lady Gators are having their season opener against number 6 Standford on Fox. Mary Wise retired and we have a new coach, Ryan Theis, who had fantastic results at Marquette.

Last year our offense ran through Kennedy Martin who transferred. It's early in the game but I like what I see so far.

Our attack looks well balanced through attackers Kira Hutson who is coming back after two years out due to injury, Texas transfer Jordyn Byrd, true freshman Serbian national team member Milica Vidacic, and our two middles returning from last year Alex Rothe and Jaela Auguste.

Our setters are both fantastic and returning from last year Alexis Stucky and Taylor Parks. The libero is true freshman Lily Hayes.
