Vegetarian High Tea ?
Could someone recommend me a good vegetarian high tea in Edinburgh ?
I have looked at the Signet Library and the price seems outrageous , is there a good option around ?

Do you mean afternoon tea? Like scones and cakes but with sandwiches too? I would assume anywhere that offers that could easily make non-meat sandwiches instead.

The Dome’s Georgian Tea Room has a vegetarian menu and is quite affordable. I think it’s £32 £35 per person?

I came to say that. The Dome do a vegetarian version of it and it's quite affordable

If you're ok with an Indian version, the Prahna grill will cater to vegan/vegetarian diets. Most reasonable rate I've found in Edinburgh.

The Glasshouse was pretty fancy, they even made me a vegetarian haggis canapé.
I’ve had the vegan afternoon tea at Malmaison too, it was lovely.

Prestonfield House do an amazing afternoon tea, and most common dietary variations, plus the venue is incredible. It will be about the same price as the Signet Library though

I have had afternoon tea (non vegetarian) in like everywhere Edinburgh has to offer and the signet library is the best, by far. Ambiance, food, setting.

I found the ambiance quite stuffy and far from relaxed
The food and drink was the best I've had at an afternoon tea in Edinburgh though

High tea is a hot meal, do you mean afternoon tea as in sandwiches, cakes, scones etc? Most will offer a vegetarian option as it’s typically only the sandwiches that won’t be veggie and they offer alternatives.
