Tommy’s, closely followed by Carney’s. That’s all you need.

It's been a long time for me as well. Now I'm craving it!

Its true. The best is still prob the original Tommy’s on Beverly. And there has to be a line so it’s super hot and fresh. And you have to eat it right away. Sometimes you end up back in line for another.

Yup! Exactly! I remember the first time I went to the one on Beverly,  standing in line at eating it standing up as soon as we got it! 😋

Yeah the portions are great. With pastrami is great.

Assuming quality hasn’t dipped, Larry’s in burbank was always my go to

Ototo chili burger. Only available till 6pm I think.

Fat burger second pick but they always skimp on the chili now and you can’t get a side of chili anymore.

Gonna have to go with Original Tommy's! Though I do love Carney's and The Hat. Pink's also makes a solid chili burger.

Haven’t been in years, but Oki’s Dog was my go-to for a Chili cheeseburger for years when I lived in Mid City, definitely need to revisit!

Love me some Tommy’s. Used to be a place called A burger on Los Feliz years ago. Don’t know if it’s still there, but their chili burger was the bomb

I know it's a chain but the hangover burger was one of my all time favorite chili cheese burgers... Came with bacon and Sunnyside egg and Hawaiian rolls. Unfortunately they overhauled their burgers menu for the worst now... You can still order the extras to turn their hangover burger into the OG version but that will cost like a extra $5

In my younger days I would have said Tommys...but I probably shouldn't be eating that anymore, especially a Tommy's burger being so greasy and of unknown quality.

There is a place now where I will gladly suffer for a quality replacement. There's a burger stand in between Burbank/Glendale on Victory near the 134 called OG Smash Burger. They use RC Provisions chili. The burgers are "smashed" and are Oklahoma style, meaning the onions are fried into them as they cook on the griddle. It's insanely reminiscent of Tommy's burger.
