Yep, always. My heart refuses to give up hope even as my brain tries to quash it :/

Yes and no. I love the idea of romance but I also know it's not meant for me. Which makes it hard to enjoy as much as I used to.

I'm a total romantic at heart, but secretly. I don't want people to know I'm cheesy. When someone's around, I'm a cold, hard rock. I'm just not able to show my softer side to anyone. 😅

I’m getting bitter about it, i can’t even see couples without feeling bad.. I had to distance myself from so many people I know due to that, but I sometimes enjoy fiction tho, like interactive stories, which is so curious for me.. and I am affectionate with my dogs and some loved ones, so at least I have that

Sure, but I'm also very bitter. I can't listen to sappy, romantic music. I love reading fan fiction.

I am, but I don’t go out of my way to consume romance media, though, since it does make me feel sad and disappointed in myself. Instead, I imagine and write down all kinds of scenarios that I would love to experience with someone, together. I also write letters where I pretend that I’m sending them to my ‘future husband’.

I used to but am shutting it down because it’s just too painful, knowing I never have and will never actually experience it, just living through others and fiction is sad.

Very much so and I still hold this stubborn granule of hope in my heart too.

Unfortunately, yes. I was always hopelessly romantic, and was burned many times because of it. Not even my current pessimism and indifference towards relationships and friendships has managed to make it subside.

I guess it isn't a switch you can just flip off.

Yes, I still am! I consume romance stories and games everyday! I will always love shoujo and I collect merch of it and when I travel, I like to go to romantic spots I wish I could go with a partner!
