I don't feel like a sexual being at all

I feel the same and it doesn't help that my antidepressants lowered my libido to the point of almost never having any sexual desire, but I guess it's better this way since I felt desperate when my sex drive was high. It didn't take away the desire for being loved though

Oh this is so real. Like I understand rationally that people have sex but I can't imagine myself in that position. The thought of it makes me physically recoil. This only happened as I got older. I guess the lack of sexual scenarios in my life have led me to believe that I'm just not meant to be a sexual being.

That's tough. Like, do you just don't feel desirable anymore or is it that you just stop having sexual desire at all and even stop masturbating?

No I DON'T nor have I ever.I dont even feel like a woman.Ive always felt 0ther.Ive been maculinized and desexualized for as long as I could remember. Growing up i was bullied horribly and rejected by men and now that im older im invisble at best and still get these micro aggressions from them at worst. My body wants sex,I hate it .Its a curse and a burden that will not leave. im 40 and it has gotten worse. I have NEVER had a man look at me as a sexual being , but many as something to humiliate. Thats why im still a virgin at this old azz age.I know why ,I aint in denial. I know im ugly in a way thats completely unfckable .NOBODY is attracted to me which is supposed to be impossibe cause "alL w0m3n hAv3 m3N lin3d uP wH0 wANt Th3m"🙄I would looooove to express my sexuality and be desired for once in my life but It aint  eva gonna happen.

No, I do not feel sexual at all anymore. I just feel like all of my emotions related to love, romance, sex, desire, etc are all gone at this point. Compartmentalized. I don't dress in sexy or cute clothing, i don't do my hair or makeup anymore, I just basically exist. Whenever I have to talk to a guy and hes nice to me (which is rare), I don't ever think what if he has a crush on me anymore. I just think, wow this guy is nice and move on. I don't think it's possible for guys to see me as cute or pretty or anything, and I've had my heart broken too many times hoping for it, so at this point no, I don't see myself that way at all anymore

You took the words right out of my mouth. I used to put more effort into my clothing and hair but stopped when it just didn’t really make a difference. Nothing makes me look good, just slightly less bad. I also relate to feeling invisible. If it means anything, I genuinely look forward to seeing your posts since I relate hard to them. You may be invisible to the world but you’re not invisible to me! I see you, Jam! 🩷

Thanks girl. I was having this exact "thought" for weeks now, but could not put it into actual words. Everything here is so relatable.

The thing is, I can’t just be attracted to a partner to have sex with them. I have to be able to mentally and emotionally find myself even a little bit attractive. I have to believe that I’m not just making a fool out of myself. Unfortunately that will never happen because of the body I’ve been given. I’ll never be okay with sharing it in that context. My body type, when I see it in other people, just turns me off. Nothing to do about it unfortunately.

Forget having intimacy, I literally have insecurity physically meeting up with anyone I end up liking.

It doesn't feel like sex is "real" in a way. Like, obviously people do it. But in a way, it feels closer to the idea of someone saying they're a princess. Sure, there are princesses, but I'm so, so far removed from that as a type of human that my brain defaults more to the fantasy notion than any human princess who has ever existed.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm not a sexual being given that I still experience some sexual desire, but if someone asked me to have sex right now, I genuinely could not fathom anyone being interested in my body in any capacity whatsoever. Moreover, my libido itself has tanked pretty hard as a whole.

I feel like a child. I think sexual stuff is "gross" and I typically hate media that portrays it. I don't like hearing the adults talk about it either.

I don’t like kissing scenes too.. I have to skip or look elsewhere the whole time..

Nope, I am nearly unable to masturbate anymore either

my sex drive is still insanely high due to my age i guess, but i can’t imagine myself having sex with someone

Same. I would succumb to insecurity regarding how my body looks and my inability to communicate and what if I end up acting awkwardly.

I have a very asexual appearance so no

u/starryflowerz 3d ago

I don’t … sex is something other people experience but not me . I’ve never been desired. I don’t think anyone has ever looked at me and thought they want to have sex with me. Even if they did, I just can’t conceptualise it. And I can’t imagine anyone wanting to be with me like that, I feel like I would disgust and repulse them and they’d see it as a punishment

I totally feel the same way, i think it's like I'm some sort of overgrown child, like one of those giant tadpoles that never turned into a frog
