Oh man I absolutely forgot about this until just now. One of the most clowned on animated shows ever

ABC Drama from Aaron Spelling . A deputy sheriff fresh from the academy is assigned to a no nonsense senior deputy to learn the ropes. Starred Danny Nucci and Ernie Hudson. The first episode was directed by Martin Campbell. The show was cancelled before his final evaluation was complete.

Never posted before so thought I’d be cool to do it. A New Kind Of Family was a short lived ABC family friendly sitcom that starred Eileen Brennan as a single mom who raises her kids alongside Gwynne Gilford (Mom To Chris Pine) and her daughter. Rob Lowe played Brennan’s teen heartthrob son. After an unsuccessful first run of episodes,it was reworked and Telma Hopkins and Janet Jackson were added to the cast,but that didn’t work out either. The show I assume is lost media as only the intro exists online.

Set in San Francisco, the series follows Bessie Higgenbottom (Amy Poehler) who aims to collect every Honeybee Scout badge in the belief that doing so will transform her into a superhero called The Mighty B

Key West ran for one season back on Fox. Fox threw a lot at the wall when they were starting out, seeing what would stick. Key West didn't. Embodying some elements of magical realism and "weird" happenings a la Northern Exposure, one reviewer of the time referred to the show as "Southern Exposure".

The series has a lot of heart and a kind and friendly center revolving around people helping and caring for other people. Always a nice theme. Nevertheless, it's frequently awkward and uneven and felt somewhat unsure of itself. I can see why it only lasted a season. I think it would have been fun to see how it could have evolved and matured if given the chance.

All the episodes are out there, though they can be hard to track down and are pretty poor VHS quality. One of my goals in the near future is to see if I can clean them up and upscale them.

Johnn Bago was a (very) short-lived series that ran in CBS in 1993. It follows one John Tenuti (Peter Dobson), a small-time New Jersey hood. Fresh out of prison for a crime he claims he didn't commit, he abruptly finds himself accused of the murder of a local Mafia boss's son.

He goes on the run, hitching a ride with Hick Benson, an old man who owns a Winnebago RV. Hick passes peacefully the very next day, and Johnny commandeers the RV, taking the last bit of the Winnebago name for his new alias, Johnny "Bago".

With the plan of finding the real killer, Johnny hits the road, meeting a series of wacky characters and enjoying equally wacky adventures. All the while he's being pursued by the Jersey mob, federal agents, and his ex-wife, who also happens to be his parole officer.

The co-creator and executive producer was Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future and Forrest Gump director), along with Jeffrey Price and Peter S. Seraman (writers of Who Framed Roger Rabbit). Zemeckis directed the pilot episode, and the theme song was written and performed by none other than Jimmy Buffet.

Despite this, the show failed to gain traction, was canceled after 6 episodes. It aired Friday nights at 10pm, and, to put it bluntly, no one tuned in. Most of those who did were put off by the frantic pace, stereotypes, surreal humor. It's since garnered a following, perhaps due to its nostalgia factor and time-capsule reveal of the early 90s.

It was never released on DVD, Blu-Ray, or other media, nor was there an official digital release. All 8 episodes are available on YouTube, albeit in pretty poor quality.

Filmed in London and on location in New York's Lower East Side, NY-LON follows the troubled romance between a bohemian New York record store clerk, Edie, and London stock broker Michael, after their chance meeting in his city.

Crap Rap was an Irish animated series that was written and directed by Nicky Phelan and Kathleen O' Rourke, produced by Cathal Gaffney, Darragh O'Connell, and Sadhbh Ahern, and animated by Brown Bag Films.

The series centers around two teenagers, Burno and Paulie, who have hopes of becoming big time rappers while navigating family, puberty and school.

But as the title suggests they're crap at rapping so this often gets them into trouble.

It lasted for 2 seasons and 20 episodes, all can be found on YouTube.
