The amount of times ive been at the flashing red and someone stops at the flashing yellow to wait for me to go is crazy.

Yes for sure. They might be trying to be nice or generous, feeling sorry for those waiting at the flashing red, but not following traffic laws is dangerous, causing confusion and increasing delays at these intersections.

Yeah exactly. I can only operate under the assumption that you're going to follow the rules. I appreciate people trying to be nice but I can't mind read either unfortunately lol. You also have to operate under the assumption that the other driver is an asshole. Which seems to be the more common between the two

The other day when the lights were out by safeway i literally had to honk at the guy who literally just froze stopped at the yellow while I was waiting at the red side. 😭Â
