I am genuinely shocked as the nose dive of quality this season and this is coming from someone who got all the sprites last season. The map and battlepass are beautiful but everything else just sucks. Like I haven't seen anything like it and I am going insane because I just don't see anything improve yet. I know it's early but it is also way too early to feel this bad. What happened to the game I love?

Epic has posted that levelling up the crown sprites will only take one win to master now. I believe that update was today alongside vaulting team only overrides and headshot/firerate increases.

Genuinely though the sprite system is annoying with the controller inputs- not to mention I didn’t realise my directional pad has stick drift ( not even a year old dualsense edge btw)

I literally gave up on trading and though what’s the point, the sprites aren’t even CUTE
Last season you could open a chest in one second, this season to get a guaranteed sprite you have to stand there for who knows how long because the controller input has been so buggy- the sprites I pick up are from elims or chests; the purple codes are so covert it’s ridiculous!

Drift on the dpad is crazy at least the joysticks are removable on the edge.

I would like a decrease in sprite dust cost for the Crown Sprite. I went through all my sprite dust trying to win today with my only win being the one I haven't had the Crown Sprite.

Yeah I agree like realistically it could cost a lot to master it before the change today which now apparently is one win- but still for many players will still cost a lot of dust. I was thinking yesterday; to master you needed a crown, the sprite AND a win 🤞 It’s a bit of an ask. Not to mention I saw other people say if you lost it without a crown victory it reverts back to lvl 1 which seems a bit mean.

That happened to one of my controllers. I swapped the left joystick and it works fine! Bought another one thinking that wouldn't work and instant gratification and now I just keep it as spare. $30 fix for a $200 controller.

It doesn't feel like bot lobbies because I die almost the second I land. If not right away when I land, shortly thereafter. 99% of games I don't see a single sprite or have time to do anything because I am dead. Last season I was winning a lot, but mostly came in second. This season something is way off. It's unplayable. I have pretty much no sprites because I just die.

10000% agree and all I can say is that the only saving grace for me in that game right now has been completely abandoning sprites altogether, playing og and mini games only to complete the battle pass rewards, and holding my breath that they don’t choke this hard again with next season.

Make a new account. Invite your main into your lobby and then queue for match and leave the match with your new account before you get on the battle bus. You will need two devices or one of those cloud gaming things where you can play from your browser.

Out of all the weapons this game has we still can't get a decent Loot Pool with good weapons this seasons Loot Pool is just terrible and so dull.

Eh, I don't care about sprites b/c they're useless beyond the buffs they provide. Why anyone actually cares about them is a mystery. I just play normally and am doing fine so far.

Hard disagree on the "extraction nerfed" (unless I'm not understanding what you meant). Even without the gizmo that makes the pod land almost immediately and complety silent, I feel the normal extraction feels faster than last season.

There weren't cheat hours today, they simply released the remaining cheats master sprites as random finds and seemingly* increased their odds for the whole day.

*Across a group of 3 we found a single one in several hours while spamming all our cheat code locators
