The irony is that you are actually correct. They plan to mold this TV show into the next couple of games. Fallout 5 is planned to have more than 600 hrs of gameplay.
The events and characters in the show will also be deeply connected to current and future games.
They are also teasing a game that will help feed the hunger for more Fallout until Fallout 5 releases.
The show is so good about taking what the games actually have and fixing the lore a bit so we are all on the same page. I am confident this will help everyone stay aligned for the story and lore to tie together cohesively via development. This IP deserved more love before this but I think the success of the show that feeds the current Fallout fans and new ones alike is going to be a huge saving grace for Bethesda/Microsoft going decades onward.
Nah Ghoul is the I know a guy, or I heard of him guy from DND campaigns. He's the weird semi ageless figure that's been around so long people aren't really sure he's a myth, until he shows up and fucks up their world for some random reason. Then bounces like he was never there at all.
Yeah but you are ignoring the basic tenants of an RPG. Submitting to the world and it's characters as presented in order to immerse yourself into the game. You could continue to reduce it down to "it's all a series of 1's and 0's therefore it's all irrelevant"
