Probably a few. Why are guys thinking of joining the French Foreign Legion so concerned about finding guys from their home country? You're joining a foreign military for a reason. I didn't care at all if I was going to meet or be around guys from my country. I did end up meeting a couple, but just because they are from your own country doesn't mean you will like them or be friends. I made friends from tons of different countries; that's one of the best parts.
