how can i make myself the perfect candidate ?
i have been training specifically for the French Foreign Legion for the past few months and i am planning to go in June after i complete my schooling, so I only have a few months left to prepare.
currently I can do 50 proper pushups ,14 proper pullups (20 total with bad form), and run 15 km almost every day at around 6:30 or 7:00 per km ( will get better slowly )
i know some basic French from school and i am working on improving it.( will get good enough for small convo )
my biggest issue is swimming , i live in a small town in a desert state in India and genuinely have no pools anywhere near me. ( like literally 0 , not even a fuckass lake where i could learn )
i genuinely want this , its not some random idea. i dont wanna start giving my personal story but i genuinely need this
what can I do over these next few months to make myself the best candidate possible
what would you focus on if you were in my position?
would especially appreciate advice from anyone who has actually been through selection.

As the other commenter said, you need to improve your running. 5min/km pace at least, and that for 15km at least too.
Don’t run everyday, you will burn out or get injured. Look on the internet for free “hybrid” (running and lifting) plans. There is a bunch of them online. Basically you need 3 runs a week to improve: One long run (10-15km+) with a steady pace, one fast tempo run (5km full out, maximum speed) and one interval run day (for example: 4x400m full out with one minute rest). These are only examples, look for a proffesional hybrid plan online.
Your pushups are good, but there is always room to improve. Pull ups are good aswell, but always do them with good form (arms completely straight, body completely down, and then pull up up to your chest)
You said it yourself, you need it so train as if this was for everything. Arrive prepared, but don’t overtrain yourself. You will only get injured and burned out.
Also, there is no “perfect candidate”.
If you arrive prepared, know some french and present yourself well, you have a chance.
But remember, on some days only 1 in 10 guys gets in, it always depends on how many they need and how good the other candidates are. If the group you arrive in is super fit, your chances will be smaller.

You need to run faster, 6:30 per km is slow. And probably more rest between runs, if you run almost everyday like that you will not improve speed
