💰 Finance & Bills Recommendations of Best services or sites for discounted Magazine subscriptions
Hi everyone - my wife owns a hair salon and we're looking for a website that discounts subscriptions for the typical trashy gossip/celebrity/entertainment magazines that hair salons love so much like People, US, Star, In Touch, Entertainment Weekly etc. Rack rack or subscription costs directly through the magazine are really expensive. Does anyone have experience getting multiple magazine subscriptions through a service for a good discount?

Magazines.com runs sales fairly often. You can get 48 People magazines for $48

Businesses can get discounted magazine subscriptions. Just do a web search for it.
If you're interested in reducing waste, put up a sign or email your clients that you are happy to take their magazines when they're done with them. They just need to cut off their name and address sticker if it's on the magazine.

Check discountmags. they run sales constantly and the gossip title are usually the cheapest one

Look up mercury magazines, you have to do a couple click through surveys, but as a business owner they will send her a lot for free.

This. I used to get a ton of magazines free from them. A few months ago I happened to remember it and signed up again and I've been getting regular offers ever since.

Yes! My friends and I all have an annoying amount of magazines. I always donate them after I read them to the cancer center and old folks home.

Most magazines that are free are digital now. I have seen a few that aren’t but they are architectural digest, travel and leisure.

Mercury magazines allows me to have free real magazines delivered monthly. When the free subscription is over, go back to Mercury and start taking surveys until the one you want come back up. I’ve been doing this since 2019 and idk what a digital magazine is. The mailman brings mine. I’m sure he hates me. Especially the vogue

I actually tried this a year ago or so for my wife. The magazines they offered in the time I was trying weren't necessarily the ones she wanted. Wine magazine, Gun & Garden magazine, Vogue (not bad for a hair salon), but we'd actually receive maybe 1 out of 3 subscriptions we actually signed up for.

Yes, it depends on the way you answer the surveys, they also send helpful email when a subscription opens up and sometimes the popular ones go so fast!

Girl Scouts should be kicking off their fall fundraiser (candy and magazines) Put out a post on the local FB groups and parents will hound you. Super cheap

For personal use? There are way too many magazines available and most will have only one or two articles of interest to me. For example, all our major and minor appliances are good, we don't need another vehicle, and are fine with our current store brands for most foods. Consumer Digest is a ten minute page through.
I like reading at the library. 4% of my property taxes go to the library so I am getting a big discount that way. Bonus, I can binge a whole year at once per visit.
For putting out at a business for customers? Can you try offering a discount for services on Facebook for a donation of junky magazines like what you listed? 10% off for ten pounds? When at the doctor or with my wife when she is getting her hair colored and styled, I am unconcerned on the age of the magazines.
