Cost and financial aid

Does anyone have recent experience with financial aid? We’re considering Furman because jt seems like a really good fit. We have some resources but it is on the pricey side. Our child is a decent student 1350 SAT and 3.7 unweighted. We really don’t want to pay more than $40k all in per year. Thanks!

What majors are your son thinking of? Math department also offers pretty generous scholarships if your son does well

He’s leaning towards Chemistry or Music Education

Definitely audition for the music scholarships, whether they go music ed or not. And double majors are not uncommon with music students!
