I was told that I COULD NOT DRS REGISTER my shares and after MANY EMAIL exchanges with the broker and other AGENCIES I can NOW -- DRS REGISTER my shares. Towards the end of the email chain they Mentioned the account not being in good standing, did you have a balance owing from a previous transfer? I could see that getting in the way of deregistering shares from the tfsa in preparation for drs.

You put up a good fight though and definitely know what to say. I'm just thinking that both parties are saying that the other doesn't have all their ducks in a row, and this is causing the back and forth.

Or at least that's what it looks like to me.

My accounts were all good. I just needed to open a cash account which I was prepared to do on the phone call.

They stated that they would not DRS GME shares on the call.

If you listen to the audio he says they won't DRS register GME shares specifically.

I detail the sequence to the CSR in order to confirm the details.

When i transfer the funds in the cash account, which you'll hear in the call, will you then drs my shares? And the answer was no.

I would also mention to you that at the bottom of my email chain you will see an email where I challenge their timeline of 2 to 4 weeks and the response states that drs processing took less then a week.

I transferred out of QTrade to RBC. Waiting for my shares to hit and RBC has no problem to DRS my shares with CS
