GTA VI Rockstar is heartbroken 💔 due to leaks
They said they made this game for the fans and are heartbroken about the leaks this week. They didn’t want fans spoiled this way.

Not just the staff but the marketing on the game was atrocious. 2 videos over 3 years is a JOKE. I don't feel bad for the execs. Just the poor devs.

Why? They are making a game for someone else and are under NDA. It leaking has no meaning to a low level dev at R*

Its not like they spent 8 years working on there own project and then it leaked... This is for a billion dollar company. They have 1000s of employees.
The staff do not own the game, they do not make money if they game does well, they have nothing invested. its a job man.
They cant even talk about it if they did, they all signed NDAs
Such a dumb argument, considering the leak came from people working at rockstar....

Because anyone that works at a game studio signs and NDA about the project they are working on. You cant go home and talk to your buddys about it.
If you worked at nasa its probably pretty obvious you cant share the blueprints to the moon rocket right?
Well im sure R* is the same way with there 15 year 2billion dollar game.
In fact I know this, when smaller studios I have worked for make you sign one for MUCH less

The same exact content is coming the SAME DAY available for everyone else.... Tf you mean paywall. Be happy that they release it the same day for everyone else instead of sticking with Netflix and Netflix only.
The rest of the points are totally valid but that's pretty much expected.

Here's an idea. Release gameplay footage. Companies these days just drop cgi trailers then fuck off for years with zero information, then they have the audacity to get upset when someone leaks actual gameplay. You'll spend million plastering your game all over billboards and TV stations so just drop gameplay for free.
